Re: Alter Bridge/Creed/Mark Tremonti Tuning Master List
Mark even recycled that lick from his solo of "The Cage" from the third Tremonti record. I can't blame him, it's a really cool lick!

Re: MK II
Ok, I know there was some uncertainty on the release date at first, but now that we know for sure it's May 14th and not March... it physically pains me that the Ides of March is not being released on the Ides of March. :lol Hm, but on the other hand I'm happy that Year of the Tiger was not released...

Re: Mammoth WVH (Wolfgang Van Halen) - Distance
They performed on the Today show this morning. I have no clue about American TV shows, but with 4,2 Mio Twitter followers this seems to be a rather big one, right? His voice sounds so freakin great I'm becoming more and more a WVH fanboy lol. https://www.today.com/video/wolfgang-van-halen-performs-n...

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread
And yes, maybe there is something to be said about Mark's vocals and the cool blend it has with Myles in the chorus. He has come a long, long way in the past several years vocally, and I think he has showcased it in recent live performances (especially RAH) and on this song too. In fact, I'm going ...

Re: Tremonti V...
Yeah, it's a pity that Garrett is no longer part of Tremonti. I loved his drumming especially on the first record. Wolfie is missing a lot as well imo. He and Eric were a great backing vocal duo (and actually better singers than Mark, but I don't care. I love listening to Mark's voice). Just listen ...

Re: Walk The Sky 2.0
The one video on youtube, they had a good position in the crowd, but they did not film it very well. Alas. There are three youtubers that uploaded parts of the Berlin show. This is the only one that uploaded Pay No Mind. At least there was one. https://youtu.be/mlb5W3NyakA fucking hell Mark's guita...

It's a cool song. I really dig the guitar sound.Devil Inside You wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 9:31 pm Studio release of You're to Blame. I like it. Vocally he reminds me a lot of the Vertical Horizon guy. Feels like it could of come off the 2002 Spiderman soundtrack

Wolfie (and Garrett Whitlock) performed Distance on Jimmy Kimmel's show yesterday. He's really hitting the high notes.

Brand New Start, Isolation, Metalingus. Then I got the Blackbird album for Christmas. This was back in 2010.

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread
So today is the first time I actually listened to the lyrics of Last Rites (I know, kinda weird, regarding the fact that AB released this song with a lyric video on Youtube). Holy crap, it's really amazing how political the lyrics are. Myles more or less directly addresses the whole anti COVID prote...

Re: Lesser Known Artists
The Poet and the Muse is such a beautiful song. I like the fingerpicking part so much that I even learned to play it on the guitar. And yes, sadly their main project is much less metal driven than their Old Gods of Asgard stuff. But they still are a solid band if you like pop rock.

Re: Lesser Known Artists
Yea, Old Gods of Asgard is a band which writes music for the Alan Wake video games. In fact this band is an alter ego of Poets of the Fall which is a rather popular band I would say.
