Re: Walk The Sky 2.0
You guys do bring up some interesting points. I do respect the band - look at what they did. They went into MASSIVE debt so they could be their own band. They put the work in. But I'm not so musically inclined to be able to tell the differences in "mixes" and such, but according to you gu...

Re: Walk The Sky 2.0
I like the main riff, verses, and outro. Don't care for the pre-chorus and chorus. The bridge is different, but ultimately I can't get "bonus track" out of my head with this one. Even if we included it in WTS official, I wouldn't know where to put it. Dying Light should still be the last s...

Re: Walk The Sky 2.0
If Last Rites is anything like Last of Our Kind, count me out from purchasing it. I had so many higher hopes for that track haha.
Hopefully this song isn't coming off for them as a B-side, and is actually one that they can claim as album-worthy if not a new single.

Re: The Movie Thread
Saw Tenet tonight.....Brilliant movie, horrible sound design :lol The sfx and music overpower and drown out the crucial dialogue moments far too often..But thats my only gripe with it. Otherwise, RPat and Washington did fantastic and the plot was very ambitious! It made Inception seem linear :lol W...

Re: A sub-5 mile is great
I appreciate it. Sadly, because of fires in my area, it's been well over three weeks since I've last ran. I probably set myself back a loooot now.gbruin wrote:Those are some pretty smoking times you're putting up, Muffin.

Re: Your Acoustic Covers Repertoire
Oh, and uh... I literally have nowhere else to put this one. It's five years old now, but if you wanted to see something shaken up a little bit, I did some improv with impressions here. Voices done (in order): Carl, Chris, Peter, Bruce, Stewie, Brian, Joe, Quagmire, Herbert... then some form of Lois...

Re: I almost said great mix. Like muffin mix? Ugh.
Just listened to the last three covers you posted, Muffin and they're all really good! You've got a great voice, kind of reminds me of Scott Weiland a little from the early Stone Temple Pilots years. Great stuff! Thanks! Sorry for responding a bit late here, haha. LOL @ "muffin mix"! Not ...

Re: What's Next Musically for Alter Bridge? A Concept Album?
I'll tell you what, as a whole I don't like the song In The Deep, but it's one of those songs I'd love to hear live. Not just a "live track," though. I actually mean in concert. I feel like this would have been a good time to get an acoustic album out, though. Perhaps that's "next&quo...

Re: A Concept Album?
Will someone please explain to me in layman’s terms what a concept album is? I love music! I don’t know what a concept album is and why it’s significant. I need some education here... :shrug :mope Just a rock album with some central theme... or concept, if you will. The Last Hero was a borderline c...

Re: The Fitness Thread
Did a 5-mile run today. Finished in 35:33.38. That's the fastest I know I've gone when timing myself on it, but I'm betting I can break 35 minutes by the end of the month.

Re: The Fitness Thread
I just got back into running again. I started at the beginning of the pandemic, but it was just longer jogging bouts (3-5 miles at a time, pacing myself relatively leisurely). My only claim to fame during this time was breaking 20 minutes in a 5K run (19:58.22, to be exact). Now I'm picking it up a...

Re: Underrated Alter Bridge Appreciation Thread
One Day Remains is a huge favorite of mine, and it’s honestly pretty unique compared to everything else. The pure energy from the first note to the very end is amazing. Some others I think are under appreciated are Buried Alive, All Ends Well, and My Champion. I was actually down on MC when it was ...

Re: The Chinese Democracy way of album making! Tinker until it's overproduced!
Yeah project files sorry! I do have the data files, but you're probably right that the computer can't find them, even though they're all in a folder with the project file. =P Do you know of any way to fix that by chance? I haven't really looked into it truthfully, and I've saved all of the songs as...
