Never heard this one either. Stapp was "under the weather", still sounds epic. Flip's drumming was so dynamic back then.

Re: ERock & Creed: Twitter, MySpace, Facebook
From arguably one of the most technically proficient guitarist of our time and Mark's mentor: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/interviews/michael_angelo_batio_recalls_giving_guitar_lessons_to_mark_tremonti_explains_why_he_likes_creed_more_than_alter_bridge.html Michael Angelo Batio : But one of ...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
This was a great performance. The band sounded great and Scott sounded spot on and phenomenal. According to me, Stapp has gained all of his vocal strength here. More acoustic shows would be awesome. I hope AB also does one or even Creed.

Re: Tremonti on His Relationship With Stapp
I don't think most Creed fans here have a problem with Mark not working with Creed, I believe fans are a little ticked cuz we feel Mark puts Creed down. Maybe we are reading too much into Mark's body language or words, but what hurts is that he seems to want to distance himself from Creed like he is...

Re: Tremonti on His Relationship With Stapp
So it wasn't one guy who blew it all from them. Credible sources have recently confirmed that "Jealousy from all sides was a big reason things blew up for them". At one point the rest of the band couldn't take that Stapp was getting all the media attention, what they forgot to see was he w...

Re: Poll - Walk the Sky vs A Dying Machine vs Year of the Tiger.
Year of the Tiger is by far the best project Myles has been a part of since Blackbird for me. The album is beautifully written. A dying machine has 2 songs that i listen to. Not a fan of Walk the sky except again, maybe a couple of songs. Good riffs , good skill, but it just isn't an album I have be...

Creed Live - COMPLETE SHOW - Boston,USA (December 12th, 1997) WAAF TV
All these years, and we still stumble on rare Creed stuff. I wonder how much awesome Creed content is out there from back in the day. Found this Epic show posted online. The whole band is tight, but Stapp's vocal intensity is a thing of wonder. How did he lose that voice? Also this is still the vers...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
Yeah these songs weren't complete for the delray show. You could tell Stapp was still ad-libbing. But I really think thi writing team would have developped into something really good. Zelic was a mad bass player. Its weird we never got to know what went wrong ? I know Creed happened and his solo pro...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
Yeah, Stapp performing Creed songs is not impactful at all with his solo band. The arrangements are ok, definitely could be better. Yiannis and Ben are alright. Great guitar players am sure, just not sure if they can write anything good. I cannot stand Sammy as the bass player at all. His bass is ba...

Re: Do you prefer Creed or Alter Bridge?
And regarding the second question, as to which band I prefer live? Whilst I would still let someone argue cuz of subjectivity that AB is the better band , there is no doub't and i mean none whatsoever that live, AB can't even come close to 97-2002( pre chicago show) Creed. I mean, the intensity of t...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
Stapp needs a better control of his solo career. The guy seems to be doing great physically and mentally, but his band still looks like a bunch of amateurs on stage in terms of how they look and act. Theres a cheesy element to those over worn black uniforms. Who ever is managing Stapp, doesn't reall...

Re: Do you prefer Creed or Alter Bridge?
I would say Mark's technical skill is better in AB, in my opinion though his writing, melody work, lyrics, tone and everything else sounded better to my ears in Creed. His technique has come a long way, but I guess all that technique has taken away from songwriting.

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
———@ThemBones Where did u hear that the 311 fight was started by 311? First I’ve heard of it. so, this fact was established by the hotel staff including cctv footages from them that showed along with their claim that the provocation and the fight were clearly started by the 311 guys. we'll not know...

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
Yeah, its not just a tired voice, I sense a different vibe in his voice, a different confidence , like he is distracted in his thoughts. Stapp's interviews prior to that were always very crisp and full of confidence. You can tell things within the band aren't right. But well, the truth is that ther...

I might be reading too much into it, but Stapp does sound distracted(possibly cuz...) and sad in that 2002 interview.

Re: The Official SCOTT STAPP Thread
Its crazy, Stapp had a live session today that I just watched, and during the discussion about who's got my back, Stapp just confirmed what the guy I exchanged messages with did. People around the band entered and created wedges apparently. And maybe thats what happened. its strange I make this post...

its crazy what letting things impact you and self doubt can do. Had they never given a damn about critics and other jealous artists trying to tear 'em apart., things would have been totally different.
