Re: LOUDWIRE - Best New Artist Of The Year - VOTE TREMONTI
Yeah, both ERock and Garrett were involved in the studio. Mark said he'd play riffs and ideas to get their input. Not sure if they got official writing credits, but they weren't just studio musicians playing the prewritten stuff. 100% this. What's going on here?! This is basic knowledge stuff guys,...

Re: But she still gets the best of both worlds
I thought Tremonti just referred to Mark and then he had a back up band. Like Miley Cyrus. It only refers to the one person. Yeah but the people who tour with Miley Cyrus or similar solo artists generally have zero involvement with the writing process of the albums. Mark, Eric, Garret, and now Wolf...

Re: Mark Tremonti Guitarist of The Year voting
Another funny thing about this award here. http://loudwire.com/bassist-of-the-year-2012-loudwire-music-awards/ There's a lot of great bassist here and there is like five guys that I would have no problem with winning here, and Todd "damnit" Kerns is not on this one. There's also a vocalist...

Re: Mark Tremonti Guitarist of The Year voting
Well, I feel like its going to come down to either Mark or Slash before I saw the results so far and Tremonti is leading and Slash is 2nd behind by about 10%. Obviously, I'm voting on Tremonti on this one.

Re: A Song For Caleb - Please read...
Already, listed my picks on the twitter, but the 140 characters restricted me from adding more. Other suggestions could be Sixx: A.M.'s Life is Beautiful, Foo Fighters - Wheels, and Skillet's Say Goodbye. Sorry for the loss and hope that our choices of songs would help mend the pain a bit though it ...

^^ I don't know, but I just see somewhere on twitter and the Sixx Sense show that Nikki is writing stuff for them and Motley Crue and he probably believes that its almost time to record new songs for Sixx: A.M. along with the idea that the Heroin Diaries Soundtrack is going to be a Broadway play.

Re: What Are Your Most Anticipated Releases For 2013?
Well, I guess I can only expect a few things since all my favorite musicians did some good stuff this year.
The next AB album, the next Skillet Album, Myles' solo album perhaps, and a new Sixx: A.M. album (probably).

Re: Music (Alter Bridge) Saved My Life
I accidentally found this thread, read it, and now bumping it to tell my stories. Well, I don't think my story is going to be as powerful as you guys' great stories but here's mine anyway. In 2007, probably the worst thing that happened to me at that point was that I failed Sophomore English and tha...

Re: Rock History Paper on Alter Bridge; need some clarificat
If I had the option, I could go as long as I want with all sorts of stories/biographies and play Blackbird (song). But its a three hour class, and the teacher has things he wants to say/play, and there's other students that have presentations of their bands as well. So I'm restricted to like 15-20 m...

Re: The Official VAN HALEN Thread
Well, today, I've listened to "A Different Kind of Truth" in its entirety, and I got to say, and I don't listen much of Van Halen but do respect their work, and like everything I've heard so far from them, its a great album. I'm pinning this as my 3rd favorite album of 2012 behind Slash/My...

Re: Rock History Paper on Alter Bridge; need some clarificat
All right, my presentation is next week and I feel like I'm going to pick Fallout, just because its got a good fast pace to it and if I got extra time, I'm going to pick Wayward One (just to show that slow-tempo epic-like feel element they have). Edit: Ahhhh, double f', now I'm thinking One by One. ...

Oh wow, how could I not see the spikey hair out there? I just thought it was another one of Gaga's visual tricks of some kind or something.

Re: Rock History Paper on Alter Bridge; need some clarificat
All right, I'm probably whacking myself for this. But for the sake of in terms of what words to put, the band's genre are hard rock with hints of blues rock and heavy metal, correct? And that their sound could be qualified as heavy, yet melodic.

Re: Rock History Paper on Alter Bridge; need some clarificat
All right, this is a matter of personal ideas but do you think that if I put a comment like this in the paper, would it be considered sacrilege?
Alter Bridge represents a piece of some of the biggest rock bands in the 70s and in the 80s (Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Van Halen, etc.)

Re: Tremonti - Message to TheABNation.com
Man, if there's an option to change the setlist, I believe they should play Fallout rather than Before Tomorrow Comes. Feels like Fallout is a song that should be played live in the regular setlist, in the first place, but I have no idea why they didn't the first time.
