Re: Alter Bridge 'Walk the Sky' spring US tour 2020

The stage placements of the Sonic Temple Festival. AB will be 4th on the main stage. The Saturday main stage looks really good though. It's a huge galore of bands that made their mark in 00s. Slipknot, Evanescence, Staind, AB, The Darkness, and you also got Saint Astonia (where the main guys are Ada...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Sons of Apollo's MMXX album. The first album released in 2020 that I have listened to. Didn't care much about the first album. Yeah, they had good playing and all, but I didn't care much to revisit any songs. I think they did a show in Anaheim and had tickets on Groupon for $20.00 and I passed becau...

Re: Alter Bridge 'Walk the Sky' spring US tour 2020

That would be awesome, but I don't think anyone in the band, except for Brian, are insane Rush fans for them to consider that possibility.

Brian had some touching things to say about Neil and Rush as a whole.

Re: Rush

Uhhh. It is with great travesty to state that Neil Peart has passed away. I don't think I can get through the rest of my work day and the weekend without setting some tears. The drummer, the last guy in to solidify one of the longest lasting line-ups of a band in history, the lyricist, the guy that ...

Re: Walk the Sky Europe 2019 Tour w/ Shinedown and the Raven Age

BSC I think you make fair observations. In my opinion Shinedown force more of a reaction from the crowd by encouraging seated guys to stand and getting people to wave their phones in the air - personally I get nothing from that. AB are not a 'physical' band with members running all around the stage...

Re: Why these broken video screens?

I've saw this exact set-up of the broken video screens for both Sevendust and Skillet sets at the Wiltern Theater back in September (sans the ceiling screens). Sevendust only used their album cover of All I See is War on their screen as more of a backdrop, which can be a bit awkward to look at. Mayb...

Re: Alter Bridge 'Walk the Sky' spring US tour 2020

Jebus, non-Pit GA tickets at the LA show looks so juicy to buy. Only $35.00 (after fees) on Stubhub right now. WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR LA PEOPLE? GET ON IT. I highly double people get desperate to sell it and it goes below $30.00 after fees. If I didn't already got tickets, I'd be on it, e...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

No, that's fine. I still want to know how Peter Grant would have fared if Led Zeppelin was around in the internet age. That dude, from what I've read, did play a lot of hardball when negotiating to get Led Zeppelin to make bank. Don't think people on Facebook would like him.

Re: Walk the Sky Europe 2019 Tour w/ Shinedown and the Raven Age

Well, so far, even though these are recent albums and albums released in an age that rock album don't go platinum as much, these are the following albums that has not gone platinum (but has still gone gold, except for their most recent one, but give it time since it was out in 2018): Amaryllis, Thre...

Wow, the way you had archived some of the posts, it's like I'm stating some random statements out of nowhere with very little context (which can happen in my posts at times).

Yep, they want to do a Canadian run as well, not just Toronto and Montreal. That was addressed in a Q&A that Myles and Flip did (the video is out there on Youtube somewhere).

Re: Alter Bridge 'Walk the Sky' spring US tour 2020

I sure hope that AB does have one more leg in the last half of 2020 that covers the areas they did with Skillet this year, but this time, it's their own shows. It would be a shame if the Victorious Sky shows were the only shows for the Walk the Sky period in those areas, especially since some of tho...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

New Bring Me the Horizon's I don't know what to call it.......... It's an album? An EP? A science experiment gone horribly wrong? I don't know. They just release this without any advertisement and it's 75 minutes long and has 8 tracks. This can be great or pants. One of the two.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I totally prefer a sincere performance instead of those type of bands who do the SAME exact show every night, they actually tell the same fucking stories and speeches every fucking night lol Boy, that sounds like people's complaints when it comes to Shinedown's live shows and it's hard for me to ar...

Re: Alter Bridge 'Walk the Sky' spring US tour 2020

It's funny how things have changed after a couple of weeks. Platinum tickets for GA Pit on Ticketmaster for the Wiltern show is now at $140.00 (at one point it was going for like $175.00). Also, I've looked at Stubhub and it looks like there are some regular GA tickets under face value going for as ...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

On the topic of managers, I wonder how Peter Grant would have fare if Led Zeppelin was in the internet age? I know in his time, he was very protective of the band's image and was a very stern guy when it comes to making sure that the band gets paid on what was negotiated by him.
