Re: ABV named "The Last Hero"

Still no "like" button.... Not really a fan of the artwork or the font change.... but hey, that's not what this is about anyway. I am ready for the music. It is time. It is interesting, as previously pointed out, that fans can become so divisive when we're all listening to the same thing....

Re: The Random Alter Bridge Thread

With the events that have happened in Dallas, Louisiana, and Minnesota, and even in my hometown of Orlando, FL, Calm The Fire never seemed so pertinent as it does now "Cause now more than ever what we need Is love to replace all the obscene Something good and something beautiful if only we coul...

Re: Alter Bridge Sign With Napalm Records

Well, there goes my hopes for a Alter Bridge/ Dream Theater tour under Roadrunner Napalm is a very good label, and I know/heard a handful of the bands listed. Kamelot put out two great album a little over ten years ago that I really digged....Epica and The Black Halo. I'm interested in seeing how th...

2013 Alter Bridge and Dream Theater promos

This was posted in the Dream Theater forums recently, and I had forgotten that in 2013 both Alter Bridge and Dream Theater did a couple days of promotional stuff for Roadrunner together. What I never saw was this video of Myles and James Labrie, arguably two of the greatest vocalists of the past 20 ...

Metalingus. I know folks who know about Alter Bridge from that song, and it's probably still one the bands most popular songs outside the Alter Bridge fanbase

Re: DUST - The Second Part

An observation I just had after many listens, with the keys playing in the background on parts of the song, it reminds me of the John Kurzweg Creed days with tracks like "What's This Life For", "In America". and "Wrong Way". It sort of elevates the tone of the song

Re: DUST - The Second Part

Totally. I mean, the point of us being there was to buy the album the day it came out. I just felt it was strange when I had someone come up to me in line saying "You can't be in line to meet the band unless you are buying the album", and I had it in my hand ready to be signed. Regardless,...

TremontiFan4Life, was this in Orlando when you met the band? I was there, and remembered being told I had to buy the album as well. I mean, I was going to buy the thing anyway, obviously lol

Re: DUST - The Second Part

For a song that's not heavy, this is pretty bad ass. The break between the verse and the chorus made my jaw drop when I first listened to it. Solid song!

Re: P.O.D.

P.O.D. is a band that after Testify I kind of lost interest. One of the draws for me for this band was the moody atmosphere that was driven with hardcore punk, metal, and rap influences. I wouldn't say they went "soft" but the rawness that I still enjoy from The Fundamental Elements of Sou...
