Re: Video Game Bonanza!

I started with Dark Souls 3 first around 2017-ish if I recall. The different ways to level your character confused me at first too. Had a friend who had played through the game already and explained the difference between leveling different stats to focus on different builds, and once I got the han...

Re: Video Game Bonanza!

As a huge Soulsborne fan it took me ages to finish Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice after playing it on and off for several months, but I recently defeated the final boss on that one. I enjoy playing their games that have multiple character build options so being more limited to just using a katana was di...

Re: fuck family

Feeling very depressed today. Had a falling out with both of my brothers in law and in a way, my sisters also. Just feel like cancelling the wedding and eloping to save the drama. Also I forgot to take my meds 2 days in a row and that hasn't helped. Sorry Merinda. Weddings always cause arguments. D...

This is the extended edition, right?

Re: Tremonti - Episode VI: Dusty Marching Machines

Bring back the thrash influences a bit more, more gallops and more skank beats etc. I like Tremonti the most when it's rhythmic and heavy. Let Mark continue to push his voice a bit more, more low passages and maybe a bit more pushed vocals. 10 songs or so. Keep the quality high but the length short...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I just signed up for a speed dating event on campus. Y'all have any advice? Be yourself. Be respectful, listen actively, and aim to create a positive and memorable impression. (credits to Google for the advice) Don't try too hard or put up a front. Make sure you're actually listening and responding...

Smooth. Well done, man. You can upgrade to asking "Do you want to grab a bite?" next time.

Re: What grinds your gears?

Health issues seem to be out of control in my family at the moment: Me: Hernia (finally got the NHS to agree to get it sorted), unshiftable cough (on antibiotics), 1 flu and 2 colds this calendar year, sleep apnea (getting looked at), formerly depressed as hell but currently able to take a view of a...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

I call Kelly that because the emotional intimacy we share is at the level that it would be in a romantic relationship. Since I value emotional connection more than anything physical, she's basically temporarily filling the girlfriend role in my life, albeit without anything physical and with a grea...

Re: Post your age.

You are soooo young Max. I only I'm only 'early' 30's but I'm so completely different to who I was in my 20's. it's wild. 34.... and getting older by the minute. Still continuing to age. 36. This stops at some point, right? If you work out how to stop it, let me know. If anything, it's accelerating...

Re: Alter Bridge/Tremonti/MK Misheard Lyrics

I remember when Words Darker was released prior to ABIIIs release. I had an argument on this board with someone who was insisting that the line 'How could I be wrong?' was actually 'How could I behoove?' :lol I still don't know for sure if Myles, in the break down says, 'you can rise or run', or 'y...

Re: What grinds your gears?

Honestly I’d buy YouTube Premium if the pricing wasn’t ridiculous. I know their music subscription is bundled into that, but I already have Spotify and don’t need that. If they charged $4-$5 a month for no ads I think they’d get more subscribers than they think. I relented and bought Youtube Premiu...
