Re: The Walking Dead

I always laughed during that one moment. It was during the last episode of season 2. The part where Maggie says something like "well, we can't just sit here with our asses hanging out", and Hershel says "watch your language". Look man, I know it's probably still a habit you have ...

Re: Funny Youtube Videos Thread

Usually, I can't watch this stuff but this one is particularly off the wall. I can't help but think this is what you wind up with when parents fail to teach their kids the difference between being confident and being an a-hole, especially in a generation that loves giving their middle finger to the...

I understand. I thought maybe your comment was just in jest, I just wasn't sure. It's easy to read in too much sometimes.

NOTE: Not trying to revive the political stuff/topic, just wanted to make one last comment.

Re: DUST - The Second Part

Not really impressed to be honest. I like the double time rhythm in the solo, but the solo itself didn't do much to me. The chorus sounds like a typical Tremonti copy/paste chorus. Hopefully it'll sound better in context with the verses. I think you're just UNABLE TO SEE the goodness inherently fou...

Re: Music song structures

Omega is pretty dissonant, listen to the guitar during the "I am a demon born out of the rite in throes" part. Hmm...I don't see the overall song as a whole as dissonant because the guitar riffs still have melody to them. Maybe not the whole song but the overall thing. To me, the nine nic...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Having a work ethic is great, but try telling that to people who are working their asses off for a minimum wage. I agree with you here. Some people work hard and still get screwed. They just want equal opportunity. This is a very vague statement. What exactly would this "equal opportunity"...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread

Just because a person is rich, doesn't make them a crappy person. It could go either way. Same with being poor. It's not like every poor person is a saint. It really just depends on the person.

Which one? Omega?

I wouldn't say Omega OR the Radiohead song are dissonant, just a bit different from the usual stuff you hear on the radio.

Re: Music song structures

I dunno, a lot of Nine Inch Nails. Mr. Self Destruct comes to mind. Radiohead's Nude if you want something more melodic. Of course a lot of metal as well, but AB's always be melodic. I listened to both those two. I really couldn't really get into Mr. Self Destruct". Just too much noise and idk...

When it comes to smaller towns on the show, is the show filmed in ghost towns? Or only actual towns?
