I don't see any clipped wave forms? It seems alright to me.chtimixeur wrote:Well, you could say you don't know what you're talking about when you're mentioning dynamics in a thread.AB4Lyfe wrote:I don't know how to respond to this...

Re: The Official BIG WRECK Thread
You know what is amazing is that these songs have very complex structures and gear changes and it all just flows so naturally. I write songs as well and that is incredibly hard to do... like really hard. No song overstays it's welcome or just seems patched together. What a master-work. Break and Off...

Has anyone looked at the lyrics to war baby? They are stunningly amazing. I know they're not Ians but my god he delivers them with such passion.

Re: The Official BIG WRECK Thread
Highlights for me: I Digress War Baby Hey Mama Break (Dat middle section) Off And Running (awesome gear change) A Place To Call Home (doomy and hypnotic) In fact the only one that was a miss for me is Come What May. I love the choir of Ians near the end but the riff is too off kilter for me and the ...

Dayum. On I Digress at the mo. Ian's never done anything this fast and busy before. I love it. Fills and riffs everywhere. The bass is awesome too.

The last couple of minutes of it put me in mind of an epic journey towards certain death. Like crashing into the sun or something.

Damn. A Place To Call Home is some grindy stuff. It's nice. Love the dirty phased phrases in the second verse.

Re: Best AB concert ever? (ULU)
I'd say either the Brixton '08 gig or either of the 04-06 gigs in the London Astoria gigs are the best I've been too. That place was so tiny that everything was so intense.
Brixton though, the enthusiasm and energy from the band was fan-fucking-tastic.

Re: Music (Alter Bridge) Saved My Life
Man. You have nothing to be disappointed in yourself for. You tried your damn hardest, twice, to get where you wanted that's all you can do. It sounds like none of it was your fault so you can be disappointed in not getting to where you wanted to be but please don't be disappointed in yourself. Abou...
