You know what is amazing is that these songs have very complex structures and gear changes and it all just flows so naturally. I write songs as well and that is incredibly hard to do... like really hard. No song overstays it's welcome or just seems patched together. What a master-work. Break and Off...

You know what's crazy is that Albatross is their worst album.... and it's still awesome!

Has anyone looked at the lyrics to war baby? They are stunningly amazing. I know they're not Ians but my god he delivers them with such passion.

Dayum. On I Digress at the mo. Ian's never done anything this fast and busy before. I love it. Fills and riffs everywhere. The bass is awesome too.

The last couple of minutes of it put me in mind of an epic journey towards certain death. Like crashing into the sun or something.

Damn. A Place To Call Home is some grindy stuff. It's nice. Love the dirty phased phrases in the second verse.

Hey Mama sounds awesome. A much better conversion from demo to album than Might Be The End.

I'd say either the Brixton '08 gig or either of the 04-06 gigs in the London Astoria gigs are the best I've been too. That place was so tiny that everything was so intense.

Brixton though, the enthusiasm and energy from the band was fan-fucking-tastic.
