John Connolly was asked on facebook a few weeks back about Projected touring with Tremonti, and he made it sound like it was almost a done deal that the two bands would be going out with Slash later this year. I don't know what the timing would be on that, or if it'll actually come to fruition, but...

Ironically, Macca has become so beloved and (gulp) respectable around here that his power to offend has been severely weakened. Next time he tells someone that he's full of shite, I'm likely gonna assume he's not just being a jerk and that he's actually correct.

Well, apparently Slash just announced a tour date in Brazil in November. So it took 11 minutes for my perfect schedule in my OP to be rendered obsolete.

Looking ahead, Myles' currently doesn't have any tour dates with Slash after August. Mark recently tweeted that AB will have a new album and tour in 2013.

Maybe, hopefully, pleeeeeassseeeee he could finish his vocals in between the two.

I touched on this in the old forum, but the intro to Brains seriously reminds me of Slayer's Seasons In The Abyss, which is one of my all-time favorite songs. Knowing Mark's love of Slayer, I bet that had an influence on Brains.
