6 of the Urban Search and Rescue Task Forces have been activated for Sandy, and we (Colorado) just went on alert. We're #4 in line at this point. Stay tuned.

Haha! Josh Whedon's work has done some great stuff. I loved The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Serenity was awesome, too. He knows his zombie stuff.

Ok, enough piling on AB23. Also, it's nice to see someone start an AB related thread, too. My answer (after reading the question ;) ) would be Words. Myles takes great care of his voice and he could hit that note on the way out the door if he knows it's coming every night. Finishing on that would le...

If the river is dry, why would you need a bridge? Couldn't you just go straight across in that case?

Re: Hey! Hey! Listen to me!
I was in a podcast with ASUDevilsDen.com to preview the UCLA - Ariz St football game this weekend. My stuff starts at 1:15, but you might recognize the music in the open and during transitions in the show, too. TABN even gets a brief shout out around 1:49 http://www.asudevilsden.com/podcasts/ASUDevi...

What kind of personal reasons? And are these songs recorded/planning to be released? We're not 100% sure why. Doesn't seem to be very major, but I'm not gonna start a discussion over Brian's personal life. As far as the songs go, they are recorded, but whether or not they'll be released hasn't been...

I'm my own Grandpa... So your son/daughter maried your mom/dad? Is that even legal?? :D Which would then make his parent his son/daughter-in-law and his son/daughter his step-mom/dad thereby also making him his own grandchild (possibly step- but I can't be bothered with the math) Says the man with ...

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Once upon a time, I had a pre-release demo of Appetite For Destruction on cassette. Man, it's really sad what that band has become.
Once there was this rock and roll band rolling on the street. Time went by and it became a joke.
Prophetic words, Axl.

Reading In The Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. It's about William Dodd (and his trampy daughter), the U.S. Ambassador to Germany who was appointed in 1933 shortly after the Nazis had come to power. It's a bit slow to start but gets pretty fascinating quickly. Really good book. I recently read The G...

The stupidity in our society and its stupid rules and stupid litigious bent. There are all these special patient information privacy laws here, some of which are reasonable, and some of which are totally over the top. Failure to comply with these laws is punishable by huge fines (from $10,000 on up ...
