Hard to believe it's almost two years since the album came out. Like all good things, this has aged pretty damn well, like all Alter Bridge songs.

i've been listening to the album pretty much every week since release. i'm crazy. ab gets better with each release. hard to imagine how they're going to top fortress

Cirice by Ghost. I had never listened to them until I heard their song on Sirius Octane and then caught the singer on an interview on another Sirius channel and they played Cirice too. I was driving through a thunderstorm at the time so the lyrics were perfect Meliora is on my list of albums to buy now.

So, it finally comes down to this.

Five Finger Death Punch's Got Your Six album. The 26th album released in 2015 that I have listened to.

I don't mind a few of their songs, but their aura, and reading recent news about them rubs me the wrong way. I just hope the songs are going to be solid enough.

Sigur Rós - Ára Bátur

Today has not been a very enjoyable day for me in terms of listening to music. Listened to the new Five Finger Death Punch album, for the most part, it's a bit ehhh for me. Watched a Bring Me The Horizon proshot at the Reading Festival. I hate it, honestly. Seems like too much is happening for me to absorb, and I don't like the aura of their frontman. Doesn't seem like a guy I could relate to.

Therefore, I'm going to listen to this in hopes to feel good again. Never listen to this before, but I already liked three of their four albums with ease, so I can't see how this can be bad.

Even something like this (not exactly note by note) would be nice to hear as a new single from them for their new album.

Edit: All right, I've been too harsh on them lately. I shall relisten their three singles from Threat To Survival and see if I may enjoy it better here.
