Spent the weekend visiting my girlfriend in school. She goes to school in Pennsylvania, while I live in New Jersey. It's not a far drive, but with her hectic schedule it's next to impossible to see her.

Getting to see her for the weekend was great, juts sucks that it had to end. Probably won't get to see her again until the beginning of March.

Steam keeps notifying me I have new "steam cards". It's one thing if you're going to play an online CCG like Hearthstone but what am I supposed to do with these lame "trading cards"?

They don't even look like trading cards. They just kinda look like avatars and you can (and do) get multiples of the same one. I wouldn't mind so much if it would stop giving me a new message icon each time like someone sent me a message. Not my screengrab but here's an example on someone's account.



Supposedly you can break each card down into gems and use the gems to buy booster packs from a specific game if you want. Why you'd want to I have no idea.
