This vacation sucks so far. My train came about 10 minutes late. I didn’t get to my stop until 30 minutes after it’s stated arrival time. TSA had to give me a more fuller screening process and looked through everything I had on me. Somehow I made it to the gate on time and boarding hasn’t begun. I need Friday to be good.

I've gone from crushing on the singer of a band to crushing on an entire band.

Well. After many setbacks and delays, I made it to Grand Rapids. On my way to GLC Live at 20 Monroe for the VIP portion for AB.

Been a short but fun trip in Grand Rapids. I wish I could do more there but now I am at the Amtrak station ready to go to Chicago.

Today we wrap up our trip to Serbia with another YU Grupa concert. This is the third time I'll be seeing them, thus making them the first larger scale band I've seen three times. I'm sure it will be amazing. I likely won't be able to talk about it until I get home because tonight we have to pack our bags, and then tomorrow morning we're out of here early.

I have one thing to say really quick before I check out of this website until I land in Chicago.

Žika Jelić (bass player of YU Grupa) noticed my "Dođite u Čikago" ("Come to Chicago") sign and talked about it a little before they left the stage. He said they'll come if we pay for their plane tickets. It was awesome.

Well. Only one flight from Salt Lake City to the OC before this trip is over. It’s been a good one. The person next to me in the previous flight was reading a steamy novel on a tablet.

Edit: All right, made it home. That's going to it for traveling for me as far as I can tell. No more trips until either AB does a show in Vancouver, Myles does a solo tour somewhere northwest, or Cox n Crendor does another live show in Chicago.

So among other new albums I checked out, I listened to most of Plush's album on the plane yesterday. Holy hell, they are amazing. Even if I didn't know that the band was made up of four young and beautiful girls, I would still consider them one of my new favorite bands.

Alas, I do know what they look like. So I'm stuck with crushing on the bassist and the drummer.

I just played drums to an hour and a half worth of Headroom Karma songs. Now I know why no one wants to be our drummer. Apparently gloves do not protect your hands from blisters when drumming.

Once again, I'm sorry for posting so many times in a row. As you can tell after me posting on here for 2 1/2 years, I'm a very talkative person, and I ask many people their thoughts on things a lot.

With that being said, I'm asking a lot of people this question so I can have as many different opinions and kinds of advice as possible before I make my final decision.

Should I try and continue looking for bandmates to join me and Carson in Headroom Karma, whom I can play with when I'm home? Or should I start from scratch and look for musicians in Platteville, whom I can play with on campus?

Those that do work will click and inspire and grow. And that's how you'll find the right fit for you and the band and bandmates that work the best.

Damn, the first week of La Vuelta has been nuts. It would be a dream if Primoz and Jonas just went superdomestique for Sepp. Alas.

And I'm pretty sure I could live somewhere around Valencia.

I will try both. I've already found a guitarist and a bassist for the Platteville band.

On a side note, as I was packing for Platteville, I noticed that I never stored the rose petals I got from Lzzy anywhere. So I put them in a pill pouch, which I put in a hidden pocket in my backpack. I'm taking Lzzy to college with me, baby.
