Say Something by A Great Big World, and specifically the version above without Christina Aguilera on it. I think she sounded great, but hearing Ian solo, pouring his heart out, makes all the difference to me.
I love this song so much especially because it can be related to almost any kind of loss. It doesn't have to be a romantic relationship lost. It could someone who is sick, a pet, a friend who's stopped talking to you, etc. Ian's voice just sounds so honest and real. I wish more people wrote music like this.

'Everything I Own' by Bread.
It was played at my father's funeral along with In Loving Memory and I am simply unable to listen to it at all without going cold and breaking down

No worries, that's a chapter in my life I'm glad I ended haha
As for Red, I agree. I haven't listened to any of their newer stuff but I've always liked what I have in my library. Great band.
