Me too man! I love the whole DCCW Universe, and am loving Supergirl joining them.

Also on my top list are Lucifer, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Westworld, iZombie and South Park.

The plot rift between Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire might drive me crazy. Especially since season 7 might be out before Winds

Might be?? At this point it's probably "will be"... whenever GRRM goes silent, another gigantic delay occurs.

He needs to be more assertive about keeping control of the narrative he created in the first place. I get that they have important deadlines and shit since it's so big and profitable now but all of that should come second to the integrity of the story. I wish he would put his foot down and say "No new seasons till I get caught up with the books".

He's probably bored with it by now and wants to move on to other things. And editing your own stuff can be a struggle. It also doesn't help that he doesn't plot in advance (not enough at least), so he rewrites stuff a lot. I mean it's his fault that he's behind. The show started, I think, right before book 5 was about to be released or something like that, and here we are almost on season 7 and he's STILL not finished book 6. :wtf

The first three books were released in 4 years. Only one year between Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords, which is a massively long book. I think he kinda lost the story. Splitting up the characters in book 4 and 5, and ending book 5 randomly with a bunch of cliffhangers was not a good idea.

Yeah, he really started messing shit up after book 3.

I still like the storyline though. I kinda feel like I appreciate the fourth book a lot better now that I'm rereading the series after all the non sensical choices they made in the show.

Ya know, I haven't re-read the series once. It's been ages since I read them for the first time. I should probably buy the books (back then I rented them from the library), but I guess I just wanna see whether I'll like the ending :D

I bought book 5 (which is split up into two books here, book 3 as well) back in 2011 when it was released. Bought the rest earlier this year. Combined with the three Dunk and Egg tales it takes up a pretty big spot in my bookcase. It's a pretty sight :D

Imagine how much space the entire Wheel of Time takes :D

I got that encyclopedia with the history of Westeros, World of Ice and Fire, for my b-day this year. It's fucking huge, I haven't read it yet.

Anyone else here watch West World? Such a good show and I need to discuss theories with people who actually know what I am talking about as no one I know has started watching it yet.

One Year Later.....

Has anyone watched/Is going to watch Netflix's The Punisher series yet?

It came out on Friday and I finished it yesterday morning :lol

Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher was an amazing casting choice, IMO :cloud9

Murder, sex, government plots, betrayal...all the good stuff

My son was watching it, so I sat down to see what he was up to. I wasn't thrilled at some of the content for a 15 year old, so I, um, had to watch all the rest of the series with him.

Frank was definitely a great character. Seems like they sure left things open for another season.

The episode of The Flash last night was damn good! It was the villain’s original story, and he’s finally not a speedster.

Started watching Godless, another Netflix original series. Really cool show. Great characters. 2 episodes left.

Thought I'd resurrect this topic :)

Just finished the first season of Bosch: Legacy, following on from Bosch which ran for 7 seasons.

Watching anything interesting?
