Back of the Net! - The Football Thread
I'm sure I can't be the only football follower on here. So thought we could have a place to natter about it. And seeing as how the new season is only a matter of weeks away. How about getting a fantasy team in, in time for the new season.

Be warned. I plan on winning this year! Oh and I predict West Ham will finish the season in the top 10.

Arrrgghhh still a couple of weeks until the start of the season. I'm proper counting down the days. It's been a long break this year.
Re: Back of the Net! - The Football Thread
Red Devils all the way. Man Utd. has a 'silly' team compared to Man City or Chelsea, but still they win the championship every year. Simply the best.

Just a feeling.
I'm going with Man City and Chelsea in spots 1 & 2. Man UTD in 3 and not sure about 4th just yet.

United! If Fabregas comes, I'll feel a lot better. But he won't, so I'm a bag of nerves. I put Chelsea as favourites this year sadly.
For all of the hope that it brings...

I think German's Bundesliga will be the strongest, best this year. All of their teams are good, while in Premier League and Spanish Primera you've got 3/4 teams that are good.RavishingRik wrote:It's ok, but nothing beats the Premier League.Macca wrote:I love the NFL

But in the Premier League you have West Ham UTD who are Tremendous.
Re: Back of the Net! - The Football Thread
Well, not as tremendous as Bayern Munich or Dortmund; or Real Madrid/Barcelona. These 4 teams are great, though I hate Barca.

Wow! Real Madrid have offered Tottenham €100 million for Gareth Bale. http://t.co/9GX8qv2RqC
Re: Back of the Net! - The Football Thread
Yeah, I know, would be cool if he accepted. That'd make him the most expensive player on Earth.

Gareth Bale being valued higher than Ronaldo makes me vomit slightly.
