no she didn't! she thought you thought she was a man and therefore gay, thus homophobic.

Ha, I just asked AB23 about that girl in the other thread, meaning not this thread which Min dedicated to books and not to AB23's allaged homophobia or homosexuality or heterosexuality, or zaz's early elitist education or his hometown in Texas, and not his hometown in Kentucky, which is where I think Ashlee is from now...hey, this reminds me of a story I once read...

One thing I'll say about the 'The Two Towers' is that I wish the POVs went back and forth instead of being clumped first half: Aragorn, Gandalf & co. then second half: Frodo & co. I breezed through the first half but I think the second half will be a slower read.

I just started reading The Man With The Golden Arm by Nelson Algren which has been pretty great so far. I'm about 60 pages in. Supposedly, it's considered to be one of the first novels about drug addiction.

Read a comparison of Hitler and Stalin. What luck probably the two worst humans in history lived at the same time. Unbelievable.

Well, I finished A Dance With Dragons, and now I have to find something else to read for the next two or three years until The Winds of Winter is released.

I felt the same way. I whet my appetite by frequenting this reddit. It's full of memes, theories, casting news, etc.

Just started 'Return Of The King' a day ago. Not sure what I'm going to do when I finish it. Maybe I'll have to read 'Unfinished Tales' or 'The Silmarillion'.

I just finished Dave Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir. Pretty good. Especially his talk of the early days. I just got Def Leppard: Animal Instinct (a rare oop book that was a mail-in with the Hysteria sleeve) off ebay for 30 bucks. Getting ready to start it.
