Got Live At Wembley for my birthday!

Um, Shea, you know that's bad, right?SHEAKENBAKEN wrote:I've been so bad lately. I haven't been visiting here much, or at least not posting, and I haven't played video games in weeks or done really much of anything else since The Walking Dead came back. I know you know it's bad so by this question I actually mean: Why aren't you doing something about it?

I love the setlist from Wembley. But the show itself is hard to watch.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Well, don't recall the last time I posted here. Anywho. How have I been for the last few weeks for those care? I'm actually pretty f'en happy and content with life atm. Job is good. Decent pay, tasks are doable for my skill set, good drive, good supermarkets/fast food places to drive to during the break, great co-workers that I learn a great amount from.
The one thing I regret, though, was not seeing Skillet and Sick Puppies in Anaheim which was 4 miles away from my house, yesterday. I decided when I got the job that I wanted to set a $100 spending budget every two weeks and I did not have any cash at all to spend yesterday. Mainly due to groceries, gas, and coming back to playing World of Warcraft (and playing a lot of hours in the process). Oh well. I'm still hoping AB can come to Anaheim somewhere in the latter half of 2017.
That stated, life is pretty great, atm, in my family's new house in Garden Grove.

Hi Ang!!!
Shea, try and socialize a bit more. The walking dead can be watched any time. Life is too short to spend watching the walking dead and being antisocial!!!

Speaking of Sick Puppies... They are playing the annual free St. Pat's concert at the local college here. This weekend. I've seen some good bands there over the years.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
I'm just going to make bullet points of questions and observations of mine rather than a badly written paragraph.
----What are some good examples of songs that have drum solos/fills in them?
---Expectations, One Too Many, and The End is Not the Answer by TDG all have cheezy lyrics.
---What is the shortest AB song?
---What is the AB song that least sounds like AB? Granted, all AB songs sound like AB (kind of like how Chevelle always keeps their signature sound) but I am wondering what AB song sounds the least like AB?

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Maybe Ghost Of Days Gone By? Though the chorus and the bridge are typical AB.
Calm The Fire is pretty unique as well, but once again the chorus is typical AB.
Probably Save Me.

The Other Side is pretty different, ignoring the lyrics.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Saw Sick Puppies today. They were pretty good. But the opening band, Homesafe, a punk-ish band from Chicago, stole it for me. After the show, I bought their debut ep, and gave them a little extra cash for gas money for the 7 hour drive back to Chicago. They didn't want to take it, confirming my love for them. But I insisted. Cool band to check out. They sound like one of those bands on the Burnout or Need For Speed games. Check them out.

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
I have been playing guitar for just over two years now. Our church guitarist just quit (he's in his 70s and can no longer hear the rest of the group) and I'm trying out tomorrow night. Never played for more than 2 or 3 people in a bedroom. Might be playing in front of 100 people. Wish me luck, lol.
