WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE SCARY MOVIE?- MAFIA GAME


“The face of the ghost is closer than you think.”


Sidney Prescott is a high school student who, along with her best friends, are being hunted down and killed by a masked killer who stalks them over the phone. Can Sidney and her friends survive the diabolical plan of the masked killer(s), or will the ultimately fall prey to the menacing killer?

ROLES:

Sidney Prescott is a strong, intelligent woman. She is a fighter, and never gives up. If Sidney dies, the game is over, as the is the focal point of the killers’ motives.

Deputy Dewey Riley, brother of Tatum, is on the trail of the killer, following their every step, trying to find some type of pattern. He is able to arrest a suspect ONCE all game, keeping them from being killed in the night phase. If Dewey arrests one of the killers, that killer is eliminated from the game. (COP)

Reporter Gale Weathers is responsible for finding the latest scoop, keeping evidence from the police so she can report it on her next broadcast. Gale can investigate one role per night phase. If she investigates the killer, she has the ability to broadcast the identity to us all during the day phase, to which he/she will be arrested and eliminated from the game. (Does not effect Dewey’s single arrest or expose Gale’s identity)

However, there will be 2 killers. If the second killer decides to kill Gale in the night phase, before she exposes the identity of the other killer, the killer’s identity remains safe.

Billy is one of the killers. (Mafia Boss). Billy is the mastermind of it all and has the final say in who is killed during night phase.

Stu is the other killer (Mafia assistant). Stu has the ability to see who Gale is investigating each night phase, but not revealing Gale’s identity.

Randy- Horror movie freak, in love with Sidney. He is so in love with her that he is willing to die for her. If Mafia vote for Sidney to be killed, Randy has the ability to trade places with her, sacrificing himself (Does not reveal either characters identities).

Tatum- Sidney's best friend, Dewey’s sister. (townie)

Casey- Stu's ex girlfriend (Townie)

ADDITIONAL RULES

Borrowed from previous games, a “no vote” will be acceptable on the first day phase only. If the majority decide on a “no vote”, nobody will be lynched. Players may also choose not to use their night phase actions, though they must let the moderator know that they will not be performing their action.

Aside from the Mafia, nobody is allowed to discuss the game outside of this thread or the discussion thread. All gameplay discussion should exist in the designated threads. Mafia of course can discuss the game since they are working as a team.

A 24-hour rule may be imposed at the moderator’s discretion should either a day phase or a night phase drag on without progress for too long. Notice will be given by the moderator and all votes/actions must be performed within the allotted time, otherwise the game will continue without full participation of the players.

IMPORTANT: Please make your official votes/un-votes BOLD and IN COLOR so the moderator knows to count and/or remove your vote. Votes that are not at least bolded will not be counted.

You may reveal your role should it fit within your strategy, but proof in the form of a screenshot of the PM I sent you will not be allowed.

I’m a big fan of their tortellini Alfredo.

Panera is definitely expensive, but usually worth the extra cost to get something good that doesn't smell (and faintly taste) like burned coffee. Also tortellini alfredo sounds amazing right now.

So I think we're kind of in the same boat this game as we were last game for day one where we have the option to not lynch anybody, and there's somebody that we have to protect. Again I think the safe way to go is to not vote so we don't risk losing Sidney on day one. We have Randy as back up but why waste it if we don't have to?
