For fuck's sake, snow coming in today. Plus the spring on the garage door broke, and we have a shower floor being retiled from when it was installed wrong 2 days ago. So I guess I won't go bike and I'll just sit around the house eating chips and waiting for repair people instead.

This is why America is fat. Shoddy workmanship.

Nah. I have a stationary trainer my bike fits into. Hope there's something good on Netflix or some new music to check out while I pedal to nowhere. (hopping over to the movie thread and What are you listening to now thread. TABN: one stop shopping)

you can still get a decent workout at your house greggy! people underestimate the benefits of pushing the ground. pull ups can be done just about anywhere. then whenever i cant condition on a treadmill or outside, ill do circuits where i jump as high as i can continuously for 45 seconds or do jumping scissor lunges for 45 seconds. you can even get creative with leapfrogs and that nonsense. sometimes i get more done at a home workout then i do at the gym

Yeah the gym ultimately just has the various different weight classes.. But for home exercise; there's actually LOADS you can do! I plan to from now on!

Seeing Ryan Gosling's arms in Gangster Squad has inspired me

My finances are FINALLY looking good too, so im actually gonna work on my diet for once.

I researched that eating fruit, veggies, wheat grain rice, fish, omega 3 and chicken is pretty much the ultimate protein diet. No sugary foods, no fatty foods. And luckily for me and my endless IBS issues I've been having, i can eat pretty much all of that on the list!

Excited to gain a chunk of weight, something like 20lbs will be nice. Think i'll work out some of sort goal scheme

SMART goals:

Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Relevant
Time-bound

Ugh... I've been exposed to too much corporate HR bologna.

Low fat diet is a myth. It's one of the most dangerous pieces of misinformation in the last 15 years. The atherosclerosis 'link' is atrocious.

Jim can you eat wheat with your condish? You should be legit with the other foods you mentioned but just watch out for grains. IBS and wheat rarely mixes well.

Is it clinically diagnosed IBS, or do you just generally have pretty irregular bowel movements?

And yes, the low fat diet is a myth - as is the low cholesterol diet. There are many considerations that affect weight loss/gain, but the most important underlying factor is calorie intake and burn.

Yeah, I second the wheat thing. Wheat and bowel conditions don't mix well.

I have diagnosed IBS. Had it for over a decade, wheat is fine with me.. It's fatty and greasy food's that go right through me. I find high fibre and wheaty foods actually make me better

I'm excited to introduce more fish and protein into my body though, eaten loads today

Shame about his personality huh?

David Beckham's tattoos
Ryan Gosling's body
CM Punk's beard
The Rock's mentality

I wish.

ya his personality is lacking. fantastic actor though, and works very hard for each of his roles both mentally and physically. i remember watching him on this british talk show and he was just downright rude the entire time.
