Despite the clear hate for this thread, I'm continuing it.

Breathe/Breath
Breathe - verb - the act of inhaling and exhaling. 99% of this is done with air.
Breath - noun - a single inhale.

*To breathe is to take and release several breaths*

In addition to breath/breathe I added to/too/two to the front page as well since VC mentioned it and I forgot

Have some homework upon which to expound while you're on a roll zaz:
effect vs. affect though that one gets a little tricky
definitely is spelled definitely (like define and finite, not defanitely, definately, etc.)
principal vs. principle

I think The Oatmeal website has a grammar poster. It might even have sarcastic cats.

Seems like someone is trying to get on my good side... and it's working!
The definitely one I let slide because I've been told that in some European countries, Waffles spell it definately (which is totally wrong). I'll hit up the others later. May steal some ideas from The Oatmeal.

No one uses an "a" in definitely, only people that can't spell. There are no official spellings of it with an "a"

I thought it was you who said that definitely was spelt with an "a" over there! Just like marriages are only recognized if the couple does the ceremony while riding in their underwear on a bike!

What post of mine made you think that? I totally agree about the second part though, but you're confusing me.

Maybe in Holland. But not in The Netherlands.

Right? ;)

Can we please, please add "I couldn't care less" as a phrase.

When people I say "I could care less" it kiiiilllls me. No, actually you "couldn't care less". If you "could care less" - that means you actually have fucks to give, and you could actually have less fucks to give.

If you couldn't care less, you in fact, give no fucks.

Get it right people!

No. That does not have to deal directly with grammar due to the fact that it is a phrase. You are more than welcome to create your own spin off thread though! ;)

Agree Ashlee. Sorry zaz, we're gonna hijack this into a general language list of grievances.
