Mammoth WVH's debut album. I mean, naturally, I should enjoy this and I actually do. I just wished I could have seen them along with Dirty Honey back in March, but I had other obligations that night.

There's a Post Grunge band called Dust to Life thats piqued my interest. They were a WindUp artist too along with Creed, Alter Bridge and Submersed. Plus they toured with OG Tantric a lot. I'll be back after I've checked out their album.

Aside from that I've been playing Shinedown a lot lately

Ra featuring Lajon Witherspoon - Nobody Loves You

I've heard about Ra. I think Sirius XM Turbo plays Do You Call My Name from time to time and heard a few of their tracks from various radio playlists on Spotify and I like what I heard. Apparently, they had some new stuff released recently and had Lajon of Sevendust on it. Good stuff.

RA is a great band, angy. I'm a big fan of their singer/writer/guitarist Sahaj Ticotin. He does lots of production work, too, most recently with Nothing More on latest single for their forthcoming album.

Definitely check out RA's catalog.

Halestorm

Post by MaraCarr »

Halestorm played such a phenomenal live show! I was in Rockville (Rainville) this year at Daytona. We were evacuated everyday from Thursday til Sunday. That didn't stop us crazy fans... we kept coming back. Every time they opened the gates we walked miles to show up. I have incredible pictures of fans in the grandstands on turn one in Daytona, while we stood there for hours in the heat just waiting, we mingled and talked a lot, I met so many awesome people from all over the world. Everything happens for a reason. I got evacuated so many times! I was right up front for GNR with others who had fought their way up front and waited for hours...and then at the last minute was told to evacuate. We were so disappointed not seeing those guys, although we understood the circumstances...I was not the angry fan that threw things on stage (just sayin).

Sunday ....Halestorm showed up and showed out... We all needed that so much! They put on an unforgettable show...I will never forget it. I had tears ...it was beautiful. Incredible tribute to Taylor Hawkins. I have wonderful photos and video. The one I am sharing is not mine. The one I have is Sacred. :) They are so Great! Cant' wait to see them live again!

So Happy they are Touring with AB!

Haha. Yeah, true. That's the album opener, hence that long spoken intro. Should have gone something that just went right into the music.

The new Journey album, Freedom, is so great. Unlike most Journey records that stay pretty consistent with one style, the tracks on Freedom really span the diversity of style throughout their career from 70's rawer Rock/R&B to their more guitar driven stuff in the 2000s.

This one is perfect classic 80's Journey.

Going to see one of my favorite ex-Yugoslavian bands tonight. I hope they play this song.

I'm in love with somebody...
Found someone who completes me...
I'm in love with somebody...
Oh yeah...
And it's Lzzy Hale!

Rogue - Poets Of The Fall

What a delicious instrumental theme \m/
The simple man receiving, defending every crime
Somehow still believing they're alright, so hypnotized...

You know, a thought occurred to me. If I listen on Spotify a radio playlist based on AB, one of their songs, or a radio playlist from their contemporaries, I may accidentally stumble upon listening to Pawns & Kings. I can't have that, so I guess for the next two months, I'm going back to the JPop radio playlist then.

Yours Truly - I Can’t Feel. The key change during the final chorus :cloud9

Discovered this band completely out of the blue, one of their songs came on over the PA at a bar I was running sound at and I was immediately hooked. Their Afterglow EP is a hidden gem if you’re into pop-punk
