Watching this reminded me why Volbeat is my favorite band.

I'm in love with somebody...
Found someone who completes me...
I'm in love with somebody...
Oh yeah...
And it's Lzzy Hale!

In the next week, we get brand spanking new albums from Queensrÿche, Nothing More, and Alter Bridge. There will not be enough hours in my days for the next 3 months.

This contract has been interesting. I’ve learned so much! Love them!

Next Assignment: Nantucket… I need an Island after what I’ve been through ..although, I would prefer Necker Island, Saipan or some place warm!

The new Paramore. They've become such a legit great pop/art-rock band over the years. The production is fantastic too, holy dynamics! There's both loud and quiet.

Can't pretend that seeing Hayley Williams back with the orange flame hair doesn't bring me the nostalgia of being a teenager and having a massive crush on her.

Them going from their original sound to After Laughter to this is really admirable. Cool song!

They seem good at reinventing themselves just enough to be interesting whilst still resolutely maintaining their 'Paramoreness'.

My band's album. I'm trying to pick out the good parts vs. mistakes so I can know what to do better next time. And maybe what to do if I want to redo some of the songs.

I have only listened to the full album once. The pre-release songs were Turn It Up Like (Stand in the Fire), Tired of Winning, You Don't Know What Love Means, and Spirits. I enjoyed the last three quite a bit. As far as the other tracks go - the standouts are Don't Look Back it's almost got a hip-hop kind of thump to it, The Other F Word - super groovy bass and it's hard not to shout out the chorus "Call out the FAKE!", Face It - where the music underscores the lyrics so well - with fantastic drumming, and Dream With Me. Nothing More does punchy, percussive hard rock so well - has a Rage Against the Machine vibe in certain moments and their choice of interludes and odd sounds keeps me engaged. Jonny's voice is also very unique - he always has some kind of effect on the tracks but it's usually just him singing and I find it pleasing to the ears.

The new The 1975 album in between listening to P&K is a good chance of pace, Oh Caroline is a super good 80’s esque pop tune.

Listening to much underappreciated 80s era of King Crimson. Accessible and yet still complex.
