Dang, Mark could really sing. There were so many great vocalists in 80s/early 90s rock/metal.

On a vintage Periphery kick. Man, Misha really was just crazy influential on the whole modern genre. The guitar tone and production on this is just godly too. Power, complexity and clarity. Amazing stuff.

Still on the vintage Periphery. Fun to think that this band is well established now. They've been around for me than a decade but they still count as 'new' in my brain. I'd been listening to Alter Bridge for a good 6 years when these guys surfaced....... now I'm just old :lol

I like watching Nolly’s production class videos on YouTube. I just starting trying to mix my own stuff for fun over the past few months and he’s really good at explaining his methodology.

You mentioned the production quality on the Periphery albums and it reminded me of that. They have a nice grasp of how to take a lot of moving parts and make sure everything has its own clear presence within the mix.

Cavo has some unknown songs that are pretty good. Not unknown, but rare.

Grounded by Cavo is a really good song.

I love the guitar solo! Song is so true!
Incredible song...I love them so much! :hug James is wearing my favorite shirt.

Faded Pre-Madonna... I wouldn't have it any other way, so thankful for the darkness I experienced at such a young age and I am so thankful for the light, now. :cloud9 "Once you go Black...you don't go back!" You Bloom!

Someone posted a new view of this performance... I was on the front row in Vegas. It was incredible!
Chis Daughtry was wearing a "stylized" Tremonti shirt. It looked so good on him! :)

The Exies' A Modern Way of Living with the Truth album.

Teenage me would have been all over this album. Current me still likes it on first listen. It was also produced by Sixx:A.M.'s James Michael whose a solid vocalist and produced some albums I've liked like the Sixx:A.M. albums and two Papa Roach albums.

Listening to the Revis album. Damn it's so good and sounds so perfectly balanced. Such a shame these guys didn't carry on.

Likewise. It just popped into my head for some reason so I started re-listening. It still stands up, in my opinion. It's aged pretty dang well.
