Tool's Fear Inoculum album. The 21st album released in 2019 I have listened to. I'll be frank. I'm having a hard time getting into this like I do when it comes to Tool. I think it mainly comes down to I don't like the style of Maynard James Keenan's vocals in Tool. The instrumental sections are pretty good though.

Ooooo. New Big Wreck album today? I'm in. This guarantees at least one album I've listened to today to be one that I can enjoy.

Edit: The Raven Age's Conspiracy album. the 23rd album released in 2019 I have listened to. Well, they are the first opening band for Iron Maiden throughout their summer tour and they are the opening band for the mainland Europe AB tour, so I might as well check out what they are all about. I didn't like the first album too much. It reminded me of In Flames. Nothing technically wrong and they play well, but their songs doesn't really have much to get excited about compared to the bands that they have or will be opening for. Maybe the second album will be a different story, especially with a different vocalist.

Kamelot - Revolution



This song totally crushes. I'm seeing Kamelot for my first time ever in 3 weeks and haven't been this pumped for a show in a long long time.

Switchfoot - Against the Voices

Sometimes, I just wish that certain voices either in my head or elsewhere would stop making me feel so darn sad about things. In a selfish sense, it kinda makes me not care about anything "negative" in the world out there while I feel like I'm wallowing about. I feel like I've listened to this song a lot throughout this year when these kinds of occurrence happens and it puts certain things in perspective.

All right, I finally made it to this point. Finished listening to Iron Maiden's catalog and 10 Years to prepare myself for the greatest week of my life. One more band's catalog to go through. I'm going to go through all the albums AB has put out, the four songs that has been released so far for Walk the Sky and if I have enough time, the DVDs and some fan footage from the band's past. Also, if I have enough time I may watch Iron Maiden's Rock in Rio DVD since 11 of the 16 songs they will play in tomorrow's show has been played in that DVD. Let's start with this album. The one that started it all 15 years ago.

Killswitch Engage's Atonement: Not breaking any new ground on this album here, but Jesse Leach has never sounded better and it was an enjoyable listen start to finish

Alter Bridge's Fortress: I actually didn't really care for this when it came out but I recently returned to it and wtf was I smoking this album slaps.

Haven't gone through their albums, but I've listened to several tracks from Fire From The Gods, love love love the singers voice.

Been listening to a ton of Metallica lately. Fortunate to catch the Cincinnati show. Loved it!

It was the first concert our son attended. He was amazed. Ranks it as one of the coolest moments of his life. That and meeting Mark Hamill.
