Spiderman

Post by MaraCarr »

My daughter watched the new spiderman movie... She said she cried 3 times and it was Amazing...even more Amazing than the Amazing Spiderman! Anyway after we talked on the phone for a while about all the spiderman movies... I just could not help but take it back to the first one that I loved watching!

Tobey Maguire is still Spider-Man to me, man! And Hero is a classic track. I'll defend old-school Nickelback until the day I die...

I’ve been listening to Luke lately. I watched his series about his life. He lost his brother, his sister and brother-in-law and adopted all the kids! Great 3 part story, all his songs make so much more sense now. I looked like Niagara Falls :( watching that show but it was so heartfelt and good and heartbreaking…Another Awesome Human!

This has been my jam since I finished the game Control however long ago, so props to Ubik & Andy. Not sure if I'm drawn to it because it's such a kickass song or because of the nostalgia for probably one of the coolest scenes in video gaming.

Their song The Poet and the Muse is quickly becoming one of my favorites too.

This is the song that the intro riff in Let That Be Us reminds me of - which is a very good thing, because goddamn I love Nevermore.
RIP, Warrell. I miss you.

Nevermore - Beyond Within

and for comparison,
Tremonti - Let That Be Us

Another photobucket casualty... :(

The Solo at 3:31 is heartstopping... :) Zakk....I find it interesting how closely he resembles Randy.

Very heartwarming ... I get the connection after watching this, awesome!

Five For Fighting - Chances.

Stumbled upon this song while listening to a Daughtry playlist. Nice, chill, adult contemporary. Also, I like that the stage name, Five for Fighting, is based off of what happens after a hockey fight, so that's a nice plus. The guy is also a Kings fan, so that includes him, Wolfgang Van Halen, B-Real of Cypress Hill, and Snoop Dogg in the list of musicians that are known Kings fans. What a weird group.

Holy shit, y'all! Ghost has finally announced their fourth album! Impera. March 11th! I really grew to enjoy Hunter's Moon on the Halloween soundtrack and this new single rules! Sounds like a welcome blend of the Meliora and Prequelle eras. Papa IV rises!

ERock is a big Kings fan, too.

I’ve been thinking of this song since you posted it (it was my jam in 6th grade when it was released) and then I saw an SNL video from last night and the song made an appearance which made the sketch even better!

There can only be one right album to listen to on this particular day.

Myles Kennedy's Year of the Tiger album.
