What are you listening to right now?
Re: What are you listening to right now?
When I have a bad day at work and I’m lonely on the road..I watch this video. It makes me laugh! I Love them very much!
“Welcome to the party club hell”...
They are awesome hoping I get to see them play live again soon!

But with a scratch on the record...
The soothing sounds of Mara’s ellipses.

Guns N Roses. I love how Duff's bass guitar on Appetite is mixed right in your face filling the sonic place taken up by rhythm guitars in most modern bands.

I love you Dr Greg! (...)
I love ellipses...you are the only one who noticed!
Most people don’t even know what an ellipses is! I’m so impressed! ...
I’m going to name my first guitar solo... Ellipses!

I love watching Joe play in this video and Beth is incredible! Bright spot in a very difficult day keeping beautiful people alive! Rough day! But Good...Joe at 4:18. Heart stopping!

Rise Against released a pretty decent new record today!

Chris Young is my favorite country singer. He's been putting out singles over the last 2 years to promote this album so I'm pretty stoked to finally get the full record. This is his new song and it's pretty catchy. Nothing special though.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Muse just released a 20th anniversary of Origin of Symmetry and it's a pretty interesting listen.
"The band wanted to provide a renewed clarity with a more open, dynamic and less crushed sound. This highlights parts and ideas previously buried or muted on the original mixes, like a harpsichord on ‘Micro Cuts’ and Abbey Road recorded strings on ‘Citizen Erased’, ‘Megalomania’ and ’Space Dementia’."
Worth listening to if you're into Muse, or were once into Muse. It's not your average remaster of a classic.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
It's an interesting project, and since I'm a huge fan of that album, I'll definitely try and spot the differences. But they lied about it being more dynamic: the whole album is just as loud as before (it scores a DR4).

I love me some Zebra. If anyone watches Cobra Kai, the star turns out to be a big Zebra fan and you can see him wearing a Zebra shirt in character in at least one episode (season 2 I think).

Another Genius...
Re: What are you listening to right now?
My baby (youngest born child, she is 22) just passed the NCLEX… graduated Cum Laude and accepted a position at one of the top hospitals in the country. Burn/Trauma Unit! As a mom that lived through pure darkness and survived! I’m so proud and the only song I could think of to listen to …that actually fit what I’m feeling right now I am sharing here because I love AB!
Re: What are you listening to right now?
A friend turned me on to a band called Chon, made up of some So Cal kids who do mostly instrumental indy/proggy/jazzy guitar music. It's kind of niche-specific music for me and not something I'd listen to all the time (ala AB, Maiden, Kamelot, etc), but they're super talented and are a really cool listen when the mood is right.

This is so funny I cry laugh every time! He is hilarious in this one!
Re: What are you listening to right now?
First new Journey song in 10 years! I actually like it much better without the video so I can just soak in the music by itself. It's a bit restrained for a Journey song without the really soaring choruses and vocal highs, but it's so good to have them back.
