I haven't listened to much music lately. I know right...that is so unlike me. I have been in ICU, out of ICU. Ive been in and out of doctor's offices and I quit my job. I got another job with much better work/life balance. I'm loving it. I don't know why I didn't do this years ago.

Anyway... Have to share what I have been listening to. It stays for hours upon hours. Bigger the TV....Bigger the View. :)

I love that ^

I've been sleeping with my window and curtains open (have a beautiful view currently) and it's been whatever the opposite of claustrophobic is haha.

I've always thought the intro to that song was ripped from the Pirates of the Caribbean theme. That's the real pirate song.

(still love it though!)

The problem with me not being on social media anymore is that I miss all the announcements by my favorite bands. I had no idea that KemikalFire released a new song until today.

Paralandra = Halestorm + Slash

I thought Max might like this.

You were correct. I haven't been this fast to download songs by a newly discovered band since I first heard Plush back in August.

Oh, and since I liked the production of this song and another song of theirs called For The Record, I looked up their producer, and guess what? It's none other than this board's favorite producer, Elvis Baskette!

The first song I heard from them was For The Record. Father/daughter band! I have been listening to their last album and watching all the videos on YouTube. I checked out their bio and discovered the connection to Elvis but was waiting for somebody else to make the comment first! Nice work, Max! New album from Paralandra this year produced by Mr. Baskette!

I found an interview with the lead vocalist, Cassandra, where she says that Alter Bridge is her favorite band. Just thought that might be interesting for y'all to know.

Less than a month before I go to Cleveland to see A7X. For a band like this, this gets the deep dive listen where I listen to every album and maybe a live release from their beginning to the now starting with this album...

Avenged Sevenfold's Sounding the Seventh Trumpet album.

This is a real Saturday night melancholy whiskey and low lights song. Beautiful:

I liked "Dirty Love" and "Love of My Life" better but "Look At Me Now" has its moments with the climbing sections being the highlight for me. What was your impression?

It's decent, but the fact that the chorus almost always stays on the root note bothers me. Dirty Love is still my favorite song from them, and there are also some bangers on Street Magic.
