I think it gets overlooked for all of the band's image and sound, but Jon really was a great great singer.

"Was" being the key word.

Agreed, Max. Time remains undefeated.

I decided to give Modern Rock Radio a try to see if I could discover some new music. Torn by Creed came up. I just cannot get into Creed, even though I love the instrumental members and what they do with Alter Bridge.

He really is a great singer and entertainer. "Bon Jovi" was my daughter's first rock concert back in 2010...during the EXXON oil spill recovery on the coast, we just happened to be there for her gymnastics competition.

Over 20,000 people lined the beach for a fundraising concert that helped local businesses recover in the area. My daughter sat on my shoulders the entire time and she loved it! They still got it! :cloud9 ...Just like in the 80's with less hair. :)

Unforgettable.

This is different.

This sounds really good turned up very loud. I like how it builds speed. I found myself listening to it multiple times driving back from Tampa for several hours this morning. It kept me awake.

Been on a Sleep Token binge recently. Excited for their new record this year. The genre-bending that they do is great.

Me too, great stuff indeed, although some tracks are a bit too much on the poppy side.

They popped up on my Pandora playlist - Chokehold. I like the song pretty well and will check out more.

Funny thing. One of my favorite songs of all time is called Save My Soul.

Also, if you're curious, here are the seven bands that I first heard a song from in 2023 so far. There are probably some more because one day I decided to listen to a modern rock radio station (that's how I discovered Art Of Dying), but I didn't care for them enough to remember their names.

10 Years
Adelitas Way
Art Of Dying
Daughtry
Hinder
Icon For Hire
Nothing More

EDIT: Ah, shoot. I think I'm just gonna list all the bands I discovered within the last calendar year.

America
Bloodhound Gang
Bread
Bush
Chevelle
Creed
Døn't Think Twice
Downplay
Ghost
Ginuwine
Jimmy Eat World
Kings Of Leon
Lamb Of God
Limp Bizkit
Lit
Mammoth WVH
Monster Truck
My Chemical Romance
Neon Trees
Puddle Of Mudd
Red
Rise Against
Seether
Seven Mary Three
Sevendust
Spin Doctors
Spiritbox
Starset
The Box Tops
The Flys
Third Eye Blind
Three Dog Night
