Yeah not sure I understand the delay. Maybe people don't have the money to spend on it or it could be delayed in shipping? I'm sure there's a good reason, I won't give them any flak.

Don't know if you've watched it yet or not, but Simon said basically that they didn't feel it was the right time to be putting it out. I imagine also it had something to do with them being unable to go out and promote it.

I did just in time to catch the last song (Medicine). Go figure, one of the songs that does not sound any different when played alone on an acoustic

I missed the stream again, I'm not very good at keeping up with the timezone differences!

I happened to turn it on just as it was starting, it blacked out so I turned it off. Watched the replay while I ate lunch. It was decent. I enjoyed hearing some acoustic versions I hadn't heard before but my roommate wasn't impressed (he's getting into them though). He wore a tux and the other two called in via facetime and were dressed up too

Strike one for the roommate, but at least he's trying!

I watched the replay as well, not bad! Was nice to hear Christopher's River and As Dust Dances. Part of me hopes he does Jaggy Snake just to try it.

The new album is amaaaazing. It's got everything that I think was missing on Ellipsis. It's got everything I want from Biffy, really.

I feel like it gets better with each playthrough for me! Still not a fan of screaming but Cop Syrup is amazing! North of No South is a great opener too! Did you watch (are you watching?) the concert? I'm grabbing dinner with friends tonight but hoping I can make it back in time to catch it.

Is Weird Leisures about someone helping someone else overcome a cocaine addiction, only to reveal they're trying to recover themselves? I looked up the lyrics and it seems like a positive song about someone getting their life together, and then the song takes a sharp left turn with the last line musically and in the lyrics saying "It's my turn don't hold me back." which implies to me they want to do the same thing. Gives me chills each time I hear it.
