So I heard the new single. After two albums where the first single were good, this one isn't bad, musically, but man, Chad Kroeger went back to the norm, in not a great way, when it comes to the lyrics.

Might as well double down on the norm and give me a sappy ballad. I actually like the Nickelback ballads than the more "heavier" stuff.

Yeah, sounds like Nickelback. It's an alright song. But yeah, the lyrics are as corny as they can get. Classic Chad Kroeger lyrics for sure.

So I'm listening to every Nickelback album from the first one to now for a video I'm making. I've done Curb to Silver Side Up so far, and its really good stuff! Not brilliant by any means but those first three records are quality and I bought them (for crazy cheap no less).

The new song sounds like a mixture of Edge of a Revolution and Bottoms Up. It'll be neat to see where their change comes in

So is The Long Road good? I know Figured You Out is the first sexual song Nickelback put out since all I've heard is pretty non-explicit so far

I think its good. Also i dont think the song is that sexual. Maybe a little.

Nickelback songs with the f word in them include: Never Again, Window Shopper, and Yanking out my. Maybe a few others as well.

The Long Road is my favorite Nickelback record. First one I picked up as a kid.

Another sappy ballad from them regarding nostalgia. I think it's safe to say for this album, they are certainly going to run their formula to the ground. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah that new song doesnt sound so great and San Quentin just sounds like a rock song they normally make other than it maybe being slightly heavier. I doubt I will like the new record much but we shall see. Ive owned 7 out of the 10 Nickelback albums.

San Quentin sounds like Bottoms Up with Burn it to the Ground.

The new song sounds like Photograph with What Are You Waiting For?

Here's my prediction for tonight's setlist. I don't know how many songs they'll play, but I think this is a good guess.

1. San Quentin
2. Woke Up This Morning
3. Photograph
4. Far Away
5. Those Days
6. Savin' Me
7. Too Bad
8. Someday
9. Figured You Out
10. Animals
11. Gotta Be Somebody
12. Rockstar
13. How You Remind Me
14. Burn It To The Ground

Holy old Santa Claus shit... Did Keith Urban co-write this newest single?! This is the most driveling pop-country pandering I've possibly ever heard... I hated it. Until my second listen. It's SO fucking catchy!

Sounds very familiar.
Just like another band that never accomplished the quality and listenability of their first 4 albums…………..

Their new album is quite boring imo. I was hoping for a solid rock record since I enjoyed their first single. No idea how you can compare this compilation of radio rock ballads to Pawns & Kings.

Anybody guilty of that?

The 1st half of the new Nickelback album is really not good. At least, I can enjoy the first half of Pawns & Kings although I really love the back half of it. The 2nd half of the Get Rollin' is "ok." Not like anyone going to a future Nickelback show is going to want to hear new stuff in comparison to us AB fans, in general, where we want to hear more stuff from Pawns & Kings played.

I finally got around to listening to the new album. I could barely make it through the entire thing. It sounds like an album trying way to hard to cater to that down south 'Kid Rock' middle class mom crowd trying to relive their glory days.
