Wolfgang Van Halen Solo Album

It was said in an interview a while back by EVH that Wolfie would be recording a solo album and he would be playing drums on it. Apparently Erock will be doing some possible guitar work with it as well. More details to come soon.

Though it hasn't been officially announced by him or any of the guys, him, Eric Friedman, and Elvis Baskette are in NRG Studios in California working on something.

From Wolfie:

I know Wolfie and Erock are big fans of bands like Periphery so this album could be pretty heavy. Hopefully they'll post a small snippet of something soon.

This is interesting, I know Wolfie plays multiple instruments so I'd be curious to see what he writes if he places heavy impact on the bass/drum parts. Plus we know Erock is a balls out guitar player and that they can both sing...this could be good!

Dude can sing too. I think it was the VH performance on the Ellen show where you could hear his vocals out in front of everyhing & he hit every note flawlessly.

Mark Tremonti: "I’m not involved in it. He and Eric were out in L.A. and Elvis happened to be in town so they ended up recording a handful of songs. I’m too busy with my three bands."
