Their twitter said the single would be out yesterday on iTunes, but it seems they're suffering from Alterbridgitis.

Not bad I guess. Very radio friendly.

Actually really dug that. I enjoyed their first album, didn't hear anything from their second. Abandoning that extreme angst from their early days and going for something a bit more polished and clean seems to be working for them, as far as I'm concerned.

The new album's on my radar now for sure.

Aside from the choir (I would've preferred just the lead singer's vox on that part), I really enjoyed it.

I agree about the choir. The chorus is really good though! :bow

Love the song :)

The version I bought on iTunes is slightly different from the one they first released. Either way, I like the new recording much better

It has some really strong songs and some weak ones. I think the band excels when they're playing more acoustic based stuff, and I think this record shows that pretty well. Healing Now might be my favorite.

That's what I thought haha. It's easily the worst on the album for me (musically and lyrically).

The bonus track, What Are You Thinking, would have been much better at #4 imo. It has that heaviness from Tri-Polar that most of the album is missing.

I like 3-4 songs. Rest is blah...

Like:

-Healing Now
-Connect
-Die To Save You
-Under A Very Black Sky

Average:

-There's No Going Back
-Telling Lies
-Run
-Walking Away
-Poison
-Where Did The Time Go

Dislike:

-Gunfight
-The Trick The Devil Did

Overall, there's only a couple really skip-able songs for me. A lot of just average songs though. I like 1 of the 3 bonus tracks.

But man none of the heavy songs on this come close to the heavy stuff on Tri-Polar.

It's their weakest album yet... I can't believe it. From the production to song writing.. just very poor. Totally bummed.

Yeah, I hadn't listened to Tri-Polar in ages so I played it last night. Pretty noticeable step backwards...

The four tracks I listed up top are really good, they just need surrounded by better hard rock songs.

Definitely. I'm very confused lol their first 2 albums were really heavy & had great production and this one is like... bland. Not to mention the horrible guitar tones and drum tones.

My favorites were...

Die To Save You
There's No Going Back
Telling Lies
Under A Very Black Sky

Still.. all are average imo.

Have you heard What Are You Thinking? It's got more of the Tri-Polar sound to it imo.
