SEVENDUST
Re: SEVENDUST
I can't remember where I saw it, but I think they posted that they'll be adding more dates to this or another tour leg in 2016.
Alterations: Dec 2010, May 2011, August 2011x2, Sept 2011, Oct 2014x2
Re: SEVENDUST
I read something like that too. I think a lot of this leg is a mashup of spring festivals with a few headlining shows. I think both bands will be at ROTR, so I'll look forward to that.

Re: SEVENDUST
Well, happy news. At least, a proshot DVD of their acoustic set in 2014 will be released in December. It's mainly the AXS TV set plus 7 songs that was not played in the broadcast. Fine with me.

Re: SEVENDUST
Well, this is going to be interesting. Sevendust will be working with Elvis on their next album, stated to be released next year.

People have been having gripes regarding Elvis with stuff like The Last Hero and, to a certain extent, Dusterize, but people really like how the other albums he has been producing sounds (Fortress, Trivium's Silence in the Snow, Slash's World on Fire). I find it intriguing how he's going to work with a band like Sevendust that can go really really heavy and go really really light. I think this would be a good litmus test on how much of the production flaws of The Last Hero lies on Elvis or on AB (mainly Mark and/or Myles).

Re: SEVENDUST
Man, i don't know if my taste in music has changed over the past few years, but I've found song choruses over the past few years to just be incredibly boring. When the lyrics don't resonate with me and when the rest of the song is only average, that can be my saving grace. But lately, I'm just not digging it.
It's like that South Park episode where song that Stan hears from his childhood is literally a giant fart because he hit puberty.

Been listening lately. Some Sevendust songs are hard to get into. But on the flip side, some of their songs are great!
Burn is good. And Confessions of Hatred has a great chorus and bridge.
