I've recently been rediscovering one of my favourite bands from my youth. Ultra-prog Norwegian speed-metal. Kind of like Dream Theater with more direction to the instrumental jams and with a singer who hasn't lost their voice. The guitarist, Jorn Lofstad, is awesome too. He has an eye for a great 80s or thrash-style riffs and is a really tasteful shrelody-style soloist.
