Songs you can't bring yourself to listen to anymore?

I'm wondering if anyone on here has songs that they just can't listen to anymore for whatever reason. You don't have to explain if you don't feel comfortable.

Here are mine. Mostly for emotional reasons.

I definitely agree with 'Iris'. Actually, most Goo Goo Dolls music I can't listen to anymore.

The only other song that comes to mind is Wonderwall by Oasis. Just from being overplayed.

In Loving Memory by Alter Bridge

It's a BEAUTIFUL song and it hit home for me in a different way.

The lyrics in that song. Just "Hit Home" for me. So when they play it live, My Heart Breaks every single time.

Damn, both of you guys put Goo Goo Dolls. I wonder what the story is behind that.

Kiss by Korn was EXTREMELY painful at one point because it was basically the theme for my first relationship. It was an extremely dysfunctional one and Kiss encapsulated it. So much so that I not only stopped listening to that song but Korn as a band for like a year. I wanted to listen to more positive music and sought out new bands which is how I discovered Stone Temple Pilots and Creed. I love Korn and that song sound beautiful today but at one point in time I had to ban it before it destroyed me.

Last Kiss by Pearl Jam used to be a really hard one too for the same situation but now I just laugh at it. Lol I was such a lame teenager.

Oh, I completely forgot about that. I can listen to it now without problems.

The reason why I originally listed it was because it was one of my high school friend Mekenna's favorite songs. Now, I had something called a "squish" on her, which is basically the platonic equivalent of a crush. Essentially, I wanted to be closer friends with her than before. She did not feel the same way, and about halfway through freshman year of college, I just gave up trying to contact her. For a while, I could not listen to the music that I knew that she liked. Eventually, though, I came to accept it. We have interacted a few times since then, and I am totally fine with it.
