Nevermore would likely still be around that top 5 had Warrell Dane not passed. RIP, Wally and Shinedown really doesn't resonate with me much these days. But damn, why didn't I listen to Lotha and Altered sooner about Kamelot? I LOVE that band (yes, Lotha, even with Tommy!). 2013 was the year that Todd La Torre joined and resurrected QR and the band has returned to the level brilliance of their early days of The Warning, Rage For Order, and Operation: Mindcrime. Armored Saint is forever and typically at the top of Honorable Mentions.
