Not gonna comment on songwriting and stuff like that, but dude, that needs at least decent production, despite being a demo.
When you have so much music out there nowadays and everybody is looking for attention, you need to at least make sure that it sounds decent.

That's why we're going into the recording studio in December!

EDIT: About the production: The demos for Free From This, Still Friends, Losing A Friend, and Roadtrip Song were completed in under an hour each. That includes recording and mixing. I did put more time into Reduced To Flames. All the live versions except for Reduced To Flames are recorded with a phone mic. Big Stars is the only song from this list that was recorded in a professional studio and produced professionally, and I wasn't involved with it in any way.

Good for you and your band man! That Big Stars sounds cool although it's acoustic and has a tons of vocals. I want to hear you rock out with the drum kit, bass and the rest! The best of luck!

UPDATE: We are so close to getting a new drummer! After that, all we will need is for me and Grace to make up with each other and we'll be good to go into the recording studio.
