I'm just reading the Slash Classic Rock Fan Pack now, and Slash actually describes his solo album as a blues record.

'He's a great singer and a sensitive guitar player. There's a lot of blues in his playing. You know he's recorded a great blues record? I actually played on it. He just hasn't gotten around to releasing it yet'.

I really can not wait to hear it.

Seeing as how Myles will do anything that Slash asks him to do; why doesn't Slash just ask him to release the record already?

I was expecting something more like MF4, but myles always does something different.

Cosmic dust was a jazz fusion band
Citizen swing was...different. kind of jazzy but with more rock.
MF4 was alternative/post grunge
AB heavy rock/metal.
With slash he's doing more classic type of sound - like from the 70's and 80's.
Now while Tremonti does his solo stuff, myles should release blues album.
