Myles is fascinating to watch as a front-man nowadays. He seems so comfortable in his skin. I wonder if he does any sort of meditation.

the river is rising is a great song for myles. it uses his unique vocal sound well. You could have someone else sing it but without his own twang it just wouldn't be the same

Yeah, when he first started fronting with Slash, he seemed a little out of his element - maybe because he's not playing guitar the way he does with most AB songs? But he's come along well, it's great to see him finding his stride in this role.

I missed this on live television. Gonna go watch it on YouTube. I bet it's amazing.

I hate to see Myles standing doing nothing during the faster section of the song.

I get what you mean but I don't mind it. I see it as him just taking a step back and letting the other musicians shine.

Personally I think he seems very bored during these new SMKC performances. It's night and day compared to the energy he has for solo performances.

I don't think it's boredom as such. You have to keep in mind that when he has his SMKC hat on, he's sharing the stage with four high energy performers - so there's less of a need for him to be a showman. Where as when he has his solo hat on, he sort of has to be more of an entertainer.
