Where were you during that time AB booked that one show in Ohio during their Fall tour, last year?

I get that it's the "metal" festival of Belgium, but they'd do just as well (if not better) on festivals like Rock Werchter. It's a completely different audience, but there are plently of metal and rock acts on those festivals as well.
I guess one could make the same argument of AB playing Download all the time in the UK. The alternatives are Reading and Leeds (and those festivals do incorporate heavy acts like Metallica) and Glastonbury, but those festivals seems a tad mainstream for them. For example, if AB/Tremonti get the call to play Download, the Download community, at least, know who they are as a band whereas if they get the call to play Reading and Leeds or Glastonbury, some people may go "Who, what? Oh, that band that used to be Creed?, etc."
RAR and RIP are extremely mainstream. They have been there repeatedly and worked their way up but people still ask "who is that? what kind of music do they play?" I think it is more of a personal preference.

Uhhhhh, well. Wolfgang is going to be occupied from July to October 2 as Van Halen is going to do a US tour.

I wonder what Mark is going to do during that time and hopefully it's something revolving around a band whose initials are AB.

We don't want AB, Kev. We want Myles' Solo Album. One can't happen if the other is being occupied. So Mark needs down time not AB time!

Myles would just work on SMK3 instead of his solo album.

Sigh..... Well, that still lies the question on what is Mark going to do during that down time.

All right, on a lighter note, with the news that Wolfgang will not be touring with these guys being shown, here's two more headlining shows (I think). That has just been announced, I think.

Thursday, May 07, 2015
Brighton Music Hall - Boston, Massachusetts

Sunday, May 17, 2015
Freaksters Roadhouse - Pontiac, Illinois with Man the Mighty

Is Nashville the closest show to the east tn/swva border? I kind of just assume it is. I'm not opposed to New York or something if closer. I just don't see Nashville happening two days before my sons due date. But Im going to try to make something happen!

Apologies if this has been posted but the video has an audio of Sympathy in it. Only a bit longer than the other preview but still.

What's that middle line? I love "their frozen hearts will feel"
Now I've found a space between
And in here I still believe
That the path we walked is still
Right here if I find the will
I've chased the greater good
And I've always understood
When I take my final stand
I will proudly face the end

Sympathy my friend
Abandoned me again
Their empty minds we'll read 'em
Their frozen hearts we'll feed 'em
Honest my love
Again now you're gone
Let's take these wounds
And throw 'em all away

I hope that I find it still
I've tried and I always will
I'm lost until I see this place
It speaks words that I can't erase
All the years that I've had to wait
They have all that I had to take
But it can't change the way I feel
Cause I know what I seek is real

Grown oh so tired I'll always chase a dream
Pulled by something inside
Led by the light I always fail to reach
How it calls, how it pleads, how it shines
Where are you now my friend
Where could you be my friend
Photobucket cash grab.
