Something interesting, you could hear the same preview from Wish You Well we hear now in this video, which was released in May, a month prior. I just find it amusing.

New Way Out preview just gave me the chills. Mark is such an incredible songwriter. I'm counting down the seconds for the release of ALL I WAS! :rockon

New Way Out sounds awesome. I'd love to hear the entire song, and the buildup to the part we can hear.

There are so many songs now I'm excited for.. Brains, All I was, The Things I've Seen, Wish You Well..

I like the way Mark sings the word "out" just after the solo, it feels to me that in the chorus that line seems cut a little short to fit in the next line. Anyone else?

Here today and gone tomorrow,
Hope that there's just some other way out.
Fighting too long to be the last to know.
I hope that there's just some other way out.

(Go find your way out)
Hope that there's just some other way out.
(Go find your way out)
Hope that there's just some other way out.

That's what I'm hearing.

EDIT: Andy's got the lyrics 100% right.

New Way Out. Fucking WOW. This is just one of those songs that you hear once in a blue moon that hits a chord with you emotionally and personally. I can already tell that is going to be one of my top 10 songs.
Tremonti is the fucking king of pensive and reflective songwriting and he just did it again. Big style.

Agreed Benji. I don't think I've ever gotten some chills from a 60 second preview before lol.

It's like Ghost Of Days Gone By but 10000000000 times better and with more to the point lyrics. This couldnt be more applicable right now to our lives could it!

I think all of us can definitely relate to this one in some way or another. It sure hits home with me on a few things.

The lyrics are pretty vague so it's quite easy to relate to.

Give it another week. It's not the biggest album so may take a while for it appear anywhere on the internet.

Agreed.

I don't really expect this album to leak until a couple days before the release if at all. According to Amazon and Play the UK gets it on July 16th, and they're notorious for shipping albums a little early. I certainly got ABIII 3 days before the release date.

I don't think the album will pass through enough unreliable hands for it to be leaked, but i'm not sure on how big of a scale this is being handled on.

I doubt there'll be a leak on this one either, though you never know who might get their hands on it.

As a reminder, though... I hate to be the wet blanket but it behooves me to remind everyone that board policy says we can't share a leak on the board, if there is one. What you communicate to others through other sites is your own business, but we as ambassadors for the Alter Bridge community can't condone the file sharing stuff. Especially as important as this release is to Tremonti and Fret12. And we appreciate your cooperation with that. :)
