Read this interview earlier and really liked it... not too much new information but he does go into a lot of depth. I'd love to see him do some of the stuff he says he wants to do in the future like including an instrumental or two on future Alter Bridge / solo albums. Also, I like how he refers to "the next solo album". I don't like seeing even more delays to Alter Bridge stuff but this solo album sounds like it's going to be pretty good and by the sounds of the interview, now that he has found his feet when it comes to vocals he could really push himself even further on another solo album.

Absolutely. I just hope this album gets the attention it deserves, rather than fizzling into oblivion, unnoticed. I think he'd be much more inclined to make a second album if the first one was at least somewhat successful.

Best part of the interview was about the new AB record in January.

January? That does seem really soon, given everything they're all doing now.

Well, at least Jan increases the likelihood of it coming in the same calendar year!

Starting writing it in January, still gives them plenty of opportunity to spill it over to 2014

I hope it's Fall 13. But probably not.

Best part of the interview was when he said Creed was the top priority.

January seems feasible for AB writing. They did writing for 'Full Circle' then in 2009, for AB III then in 2010. Januaryish after a tour cycle always seems to be the guys' downtime.

Mark wrote a song in 8th grade? Shocker. He's a stud.
