You split that 4 ways you get 175 per person and I'm sure they invested a certain amount of money in the studio, paying Elvis, paying for production. I wouldn't be surprised if they wound up with <$100k each after taxes (except for maybe Tremonti who owns the label).

When you look at it like that it almost seems like you'd have to release an album every year (I'm sure touring helps) to make a decent living.

I don't even think Fortress made $700k in US album sales alone. If it did and made more than that, I'll be surprised. For Cauterize. Well, if they can break even on album sales alone, after paying for Elvis and the studio stuff, promotion, etc. they should be ok from here on out.

From what I remember of Another Heart I thought it was just ok. I said as much when they released the preview that the clip was from the breakdown and people shouldn't think it was representative of the whole song.

Very curious why they decided to go with this one, considering the band themselves seemed to have other favorites. I'd be shocked if it was because of the LP survey because I'll bet total votes for other tracks would have trumped it.

There seem to be a lot of odd decisions being made surrounding this album.

The ending is really incredible but the rest is eh. I hate to sound harsh on here (not because I'm a fanboy but because others get mad at criticism) but the solo for Another Heart is pretty terrible and is in my opinion the worst solo he's written. However, I will still be buying the single to support Tremo and the crew.
