How cool! I'm sure getting a baby girl is a bit of a breather after two boys haha

I mean, we've all been throwing money at him for a long time now. If it gets him a big house and gets us that kind of music, I'll call it a fair trade! :cheers

Fair trade if he stops writing songs like Tear Us Apart and keeps writing songs like Traipse :shifty :shifty

The main riff in Tear us Apart gives me a very strong Creed vibe, like some riffs on One Day Remains before they purged most of the Creed sound from Alter Bridge. I can definitely do without those riffs!

There’s a scene in the A Dying Machine book where the main character “traipses through the back of the woods.”

In general it’s a song about being careful while treading high water / confronting difficulties, so to speak.

So do we know for sure the album is delayed because he had another kid, or are we just assuming? It's entirely possible the press releases and any kind of single/album title/teaser could be released by his team without him having to be away from his family much if at all.

The delay, if there is any, will be strategic. A lot of AB-fans just spent much money on the presale of MK2. If they wait 2-3 months with the presale for Tremonti V the wallets will be refilled. So waiting will probably earn them thousands of dollars. Can’t blame them for that after more than a year with no touring-revenues.

This a pretty snazzy little lead Mark played and posted to Facebook yesterday...

Could this actually be our first taste of a new tune?!

I hope so. Those slower and jazzier note choices and the chromatic phrasing is totally new territory for Mark on record. Sounds very Ian Thornley crossed with David Gilmour. I would love to see these kinds of moods popping up in his stuff.
