I still like Full Circle. I remember I loved it when it first came out. I'm going to have to listen to it again after seeing this thread. I remember liking the title track, A Thousand Faces, Overcome, and On My Sleeve in particular.

Edit: Listening to it now. Overcome is still pretty good to my ears. One of the best songs on the album.

I think Time is one of Creeds best songs IMO... This album is on both ends of the spectrum, there's some really amazing songs and some very meh songs that I don't ever listen to.

I used to watch that live performance of the song (from Houston, I think) all the time :)

A Thousand Faces and Time are both excellent songs. If Stapp had been in pre breakup form they might be even more highly thought of.

True, he did some really decent shows in 2012.

Also this performance is pretty good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEwQwgTsCkg

Time sucks. It never gets to the next level.
A huge disappointment after Faceless Man and Who's Got My Back.
Tremonti's worst epic tune, by far as far as I'm concerned.

But I don't think it was meant to be "epic"... The mood fits the lyrics.

Well, I know what you are saying here, it had more potential, kinda gets too long towards the end with nothing more and the guitar tones are bad, but the lyrics and the mood of the song are pretty good don't you think? It does sound rushed like the entire album, but had promise. It does lack good guitar tones, more bass and probably could have been more of an acoustic song, I personally love the vocal melody, the lyrics and the opening finger picking arpeggio. Song could have been much better instrumentally.

The only song on that album that didn't bore me to death was the title track. Full Circle is pretty cool and I wish the solo was a bit longer.

It's funny how opinions can differ so much... as Full Circle is one of the boring tracks on the album for me, along with the likes of Good Fight and Bread of Shame. I'm surprised that Thousand Faces bored you to death :shifty :lol

I don't know what it is about that song. I guess I like the bridge and the solo, but that would be it. Out of the singles, that would be my preference, but I haven't listened to anything off that album since its release other than Full Circle.

I guess I'm the only one here who prefers Full Circle over every album they've ever done. I love heavy Creed, and I think it suits them really well. I know it alienated a lot of post grunge fans, but so be it. Overcome is how I found out about Tremonti and in turn, Alter Bridge, so that song holds a special place in my heart, and I still favor that solo over any solo Mark has ever written. It's just so fucking badass. To me, it epitomizes everything that Mark Tremonti is. It's aggressive, it's dirty, and it's fast as fffuuuu.

Overcome was perfect for a comeback single.
