Creed.com leads to Scott Stapp now
Re: Creed.com leads to Scott Stapp now
Considering his album still isn't done...gonna assume it was the former.

Regardless of the reason, it was still a dumb move. As if there's not enough people who hate Stapp for whatever reason... he doesn't have the greatest past, and some people don't like his voice, but I still love me some Creed. Used to be my favorite until AB came along. Took some time, ODR pushed it near the top but once I heard Ties that Bind and Blackbird (all time fav) AB took the top spot.

Well, Tremonti failed to tell Stapp happy birthday on Twitter a few days ago where as he was sure to tweet James Hetfield and tell him happy birthday a few days ago.
I think that says a decent amount about Stapp and Mark's current relationship

Re: Creed.com leads to Scott Stapp now
Maybe Mark sent Scott a text, or rang him.. you know? Where as.. with Mr Hetfield.. that may have been the only way for Mark to wish him well. There are other ways to do these things, birthday greetings don't have to be sent via Twitter. That being said, what do I know, you could be rightaustin. wrote:Well, Tremonti failed to tell Stapp happy birthday on Twitter a few days ago where as he was sure to tweet James Hetfield and tell him happy birthday a few days ago.

Well, the thing is that Mark pretty much does a birthday greeting tweet to everyone else he knows. His wife, his son, Erock, Garrett, Wolfie, he even said congratulations to Erock's kid for being born into this world. Although, I don't think he made a tweet to say congratulations to Myles and his wife for being married for a decade, I don't think he did.Dan Dando wrote:Maybe Mark sent Scott a text, or rang him.. you know? My Trip to Orlando and Raleigh to see AB Posts

I think you're over thinking those matters.
The only way to make this kind of assumption is if you know the whole story; don't let social media rule the real world.

I overlooked the birthday comment but it's a good point about their current relationship. They're not good buddies by any means. lol

Re: Creed.com leads to Scott Stapp now
I'm still quite amazed to see the new Scott Stapp website has not been revamped yet.
He's been talking about it for more than 2 months (go to my website, subscribe to the newsletter, blablabla...), and it's still empty after all this time.
I don't know if it's bad management, incompetence or just your usual Wind-up sabotage, but it doesn't look good for this album promotion-wise. They only have 1 month left, and barely nothing has happened yet. No website, no interviews, no hype whatsoever. Even fans could do a better job !

They said it will update on the 8th

Creed's Facebook is promoting Alter Bridge's first album, "One Day Remains," so there is some cross promotion at least on Creed's Facebook page.

so i guess it's just a label thing then
Re: Creed.com leads to Scott Stapp now
Yeah, that album's under Windup. Tis why they're promoting it.

Re: Creed.com leads to Scott Stapp now
Wind up is clearly running the show here. I doubt Stapp has any control left over his career or Creed with the other guys. Wind Up is massively misusing Creed's brand name and for the wrong. The safest thing ever for Creed in future would be to get out of Wind up and start afresh if they really wanna do it. Start indie maybe. Stapp needs to stop being a product.
Over thinking, over analyzing, separates my body from my mind..
