Wow. Scott Stapp is a grandfather now..... To put it into more context, Mark, whose going to turn 50 in April, has a 3 year old daughter. We are getting ancient here.

He only did a 1:22 cover? guess they couldn't afford a full song?

It says intro in the title. Covering the whole thing is probably pointless

yeah it's a pointless cover at 1:22

Ah I didn't know this. Interesting. But I actually like the version of Natalie Imbruglia more.

I actually prefer the Danish one. Has a cool acoustic guitar solo and less of this pompous poppy alternative 90's feel.

Divorce is official :( I'm glad Creed is coming back when they are. The same thing happened to Scott Weiland in 2008 when STP got back together. If nothing else this will keep him somewhat occupied

It’s strange that he seems so happy considering that.

Yeah I noticed he wasn't wearing his ring on the cruise but didn't say anything because i know the board tends to have a policy about not talking about band members families. Stapp seems happy probably because the divorce is not new. She filed last may.

I feel bad for stapp. He's been in courts for years now. Between those assholes in AoA and now this. It's hard to say what the cause for the divorce is. Stapp has been extremely private in recent years. It just sucks that as soon as Creed comes back this happens. Of course this is going to associate negativity with stapp and i hope this doesn't cause problems within the band. But they've probably known about this for a while too. The reunion has been in the planning since 2019, right?

Just seems strange to me divorcing at that age unless it's something drastic. But I don't know. I've never divorced. I hope stapps mental health stays well and he doesn't relapse.

It happens. On the topic of Stone Temple Pilots, Rob Deleo wrote a song about his divorce on their most recent album and he's only a few years older than Stapp. I've never been married but good for him for being so private about it. I think this gives a lot more context onto some of the Higher Power lyrics. I knew something was off but I'm proud of him for handling it as well as he has. Especially since he's implied this has been going on since COVID.

If he's single and provided there's mutual interest, that Dorothy chick is cute. Lol I even thought she looked like Jaclyn in their video together

I can't say I'm surprised by this. I've suspected it for quite a while.
In the end, it's their life, and it's none of our business. For Stapp's sake (and Creed's future), I just hope it doesn't get messy, as divorces tend to be.

Does anybody know wtf happened with the AoA thing? They accused Stapp of not touring enough dates, sued him and that's the end of it?

Stapp only played 18 shows in 2017 when he was supposed to play a significantly higher amount. Apparently the lack of playing cost Art of Anarchy their recording contract and that's when they sued him.

Idk what the results were of the lawsuit but based off some of the song titles, it seems like Stapp won or didn't have to pay as high as Art of Anarchy requested.

i think there might be a gag order or NDA type situation since no one on either side has explicitly said the result. Maybe someone who knows how to inquire with court records could get it?

I'm curious to know what song titles are you talking about
