It's a super bowl commercial. Of course, it's supposed to look way out of a norm of a regular commercial. That being said, these kinds of commercials costs millions of dollar to pay for the tv slot when it happens and I presume Mark and Stapp got a fair amount of compensation for their part, otherwise, they wouldn't feel the need to do it.

I guess so. I gotta admit its a little underwhelming haha they could have easily not been in it and the actual commercial itself has them almost out of frame to everything else. Its cute though. Very wholesome

I'm not sure about that. I mean that would qualify as secret, but he said they were "working on" it. This would have been a one day shoot kind of thing, and certainly would not have been a reason for them to get the whole band together and rehearse. I still think they have something else, but maybe I am just hopeful.

I thought that was in reference to a beer commercial, not commercials in general. But I could remember that incorrectly.
